missing-points-claim

missing-points-claim is a skill for Claude Code from AwardTravelFinder/mcp. It costs 70 tokens per session (507 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A hotel-stay checker that reviews a bill, loyalty points and elite benefits. It identifies charges or missing benefits that the hotel programme should correct and drafts a claim.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it after a stay to check Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt or IHG folios, estimate missing points, and write a dispute or points claim.
Why use it?
Hotel bills and loyalty accounts can contain incorrect charges or omitted points and benefits. This helps you find issues before contacting the hotel or loyalty programme.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00070 $0.00507
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00203
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00101
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00051

Measured 24d ago against content hash bc5823a99b1b, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

missing-points-claim scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 24d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Claim missing points and dispute a folio

The tools named below are on the Award Travel Finder MCP connector. If they are not available, tell the user to connect https://mcp.awardtravelfinder.com/mcp (setup: https://awardtravelfinder.com/developers/mcp).

Plan: needs Premium: list_hotel_bookings, audit_marriott_folio, audit_hotel_folio. If the user is on the free plan, tell them before you call these tools, and use the free steps where the skill gives one.

1. Collect the folio

  • Ask the user to paste the folio text if it is not in the chat.
  • Call list_loyalty_statuses for the user's elite tier with the chain. Ask only if it is missing.
  • Call list_hotel_bookings to match the stay and confirmation number.

2. Audit

  • Marriott: call audit_marriott_folio with folio text, stay type, status tier and confirmation number.
  • Hilton, Hyatt or IHG: call audit_hotel_folio with the chain.
  • Keep only findings the tool flags. Do not invent charges.

3. Missing points

  • The typical posting delay varies by programme; many say 2-6 weeks. Check the chain's own rule before you call the points missing, and say when the user can file a claim.
  • Estimate the missing points from the paid room rate and the chain's base earn plus the elite bonus. Say it is an estimate.

4. Write the claim

  • Use the dispute template from the audit result.
  • Add the missing-points request with dates, confirmation number and the folio total.

Output format

  1. Flagged lines: charge, amount, why it is disputable.
  2. Missing points estimate.
  3. The claim message, ready to send, in a code block.
  4. Where to send it (chain's missing-stay form or the hotel).
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
