Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00061 | $0.00568 |

Grade A, and why
second-opinion scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.
example in a sandbox without npm access), use the curl fallback below or `/polydev:login`. What it actually says
Second opinion with Polydev
Polydev asks the models set up in the user's Polydev account the same question and returns each answer.
Its tools come from this plugin's MCP server (mcp__plugin_polydev_mcp__*). If they are missing (for
example in a sandbox without npm access), use the curl fallback below or /polydev:login.
When to use it
Polydev sends the prompt it is given to other model providers, so call it only when the user asks for it
(for example "ask other models", "get a second opinion", /polydev:ask) or agrees when you offer.
You may offer a second opinion, without calling the tool, when it would clearly help:
- the user is stuck or two approaches have already failed;
- an architecture, design or technology choice with real trade-offs;
- a code review or security question where independent views help.
Ask first, for example: "Want me to ask a few other models through Polydev?" Call
mcp__plugin_polydev_mcp__get_perspectives once the user says yes. Include only the context the question
needs; leave out secrets, keys and unrelated code.
Curl fallback for get_perspectives (when MCP tools unavailable)
If MCP tools are not available but the user has authenticated:
# Load token if not in env
[ -z "$POLYDEV_USER_TOKEN" ] && [ -f "$HOME/.polydev.env" ] && source "$HOME/.polydev.env"
curl -s -X POST "https://www.polydev.ai/api/mcp" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $POLYDEV_USER_TOKEN" \
-H "User-Agent: polydev-mcp/1.9.0" \
-d '{
"jsonrpc": "2.0",
"method": "tools/call",
"params": {
"name": "get_perspectives",
"arguments": {
"prompt": "YOUR QUESTION HERE"
}
},
"id": "1"
}'
After the answers come back
Summarise where the models agree, where they differ, and what you recommend. Setup and sign-in:
/polydev:login (or npx -p polydev-ai polydev-login).
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

second-opinion is a skill published in the GitHub repository backspacevenkat/polydev-claude-code-plugin (1 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 61 tokens to every session and 568 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-06.
