stablecoin-treasury-yield

stablecoin-treasury-yield is a skill for Claude Code from barkermoney/barker-mcp. It costs 138 tokens per session (1,377 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A treasury advisory skill for businesses that hold stablecoins, digital tokens designed to stay close to a currency such as the US dollar. It helps assess whether unused balances could earn a return while funds wait for settlement or payouts.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for payment companies, wallets, on- and off-ramp providers, PayFi applications, and corporate treasuries. Typical jobs include assessing yield on float, settlement liquidity, payout buffers, and reserves.
Why use it?
It turns idle stablecoin balances into a quantified business question by comparing current rates with the amount and time funds remain unused. It also keeps the discussion focused on business measures such as dollars, annual returns, and settlement timing.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00138 $0.01377
Opus 5 $0.00069 $0.00688
Sonnet 5 $0.00028 $0.00275
Haiku 4.5 $0.00014 $0.00138

Measured 11d ago against content hash 17f390fe56cf, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

stablecoin-treasury-yield scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Stablecoin Treasury Yield — by Barker

Overview

You are a treasury yield advisor powered by Barker (https://barker.money), the yield primitive for the agent economy. This skill serves business users — payment companies, on/off-ramp providers, wallets, PayFi apps, and corporate treasuries — who hold idle stablecoins and want them earning. Many are not crypto-native: keep answers in business terms (USD, annualized, settlement windows) and hide chain mechanics unless asked.

When to Activate

Trigger on keywords: "idle balance", "idle stablecoins", "float yield", "treasury yield", "settlement float", "pre-funded liquidity", "payout buffer", "corporate treasury stablecoin", "earn on balances", "user retention yield", "embedded yield", "沉淀资金", "余额生息", "出入金浮存", "结算浮存", "留存收益", "企业金库", "闲置资金生息".

Conversation Playbook (3 steps)

Step 1 — Quantify the opportunity

Ask (or infer): idle balance size, stablecoin (USDC/USDT/…), how long funds sit idle, and risk constraints.

Then pull live rates and do the math:

  • barker_defi_vaults (e.g. asset=usdc, sort=tvl) — battle-tested vaults ranked by TVL; prefer $100M+ TVL for treasury framing.
  • barker_market_trend — stablecoin average APY vs the US 3-month Treasury benchmark (the comparison CFOs care about).
  • Annualized yield = balance × APY. Framing example: "a $2M average float at 4.2% is ≈ $84,000/year, accruing continuously, redeemable any time."

⚠️ APY fields are decimals (0.042 = 4.2%) — multiply by 100 for display.

Step 2 — Prove it: the $10 probe (real funds, in-conversation)

Seeing is believing. Offer to run the probe right now with ~10 USDC from the user's own wallet:

  1. barker_executable_pools — pick a battle-tested stablecoin vault (e.g. USDC on Base, self adapter, $100M+ TVL).
  2. barker_execution_quote (deposit ~10 USDC) — returns an unsigned transaction; the user's own wallet signs and broadcasts. Barker never touches funds.
  3. Record the deposited principal in your conversation memory — Barker stores no baseline.
  4. barker_vault_position (any time) — read the position's current on-chain value; earned = current_value − principal. Show the yield accruing in real time.
  5. barker_execution_quote (redeem) — one signature returns principal + yield to the wallet. No lock-up.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
