Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00030 $0.00457
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00183
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00091
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00046

Security

Grade A, and why

answer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

The user wants answers to an application form's questions. The questions are below.

  • If no questions are included, ask them to paste them, with character limits if shown, and stop.
  • Source. With the Career Compass tools, call answer_application with the questions (and the company and role); it returns the Career KB, what's on file for eligibility, and the saved narrative. If the KB is empty, ask for a résumé and pass it as resume. Without the tools (claude.ai chat), answer from the résumé they paste.
  • Each answer in their voice, from facts in their history only, within its character limit. Show the count after it, like "(412/500)".
  • Eligibility is theirs to answer: work authorization or sponsorship, relocation, salary expectation, start date or notice. Fill these only from a saved narrative entry or the profile (salaryMin/salaryMax, openToRelocation, noticePeriod), quoted as saved; otherwise [confirm: ...]. Never guess.
  • "Years of experience with X": count only from roles where their history names X. If it can't support the number, flag it and give what it does support. Never round up, and never answer yes to a requirement their history doesn't show.
  • End with the placeholder footer when there are any: "2 things to confirm before sending: salary expectation, start date."
  • When they fill in a narrative answer (why they're leaving, a gap, work authorization), offer to save it verbatim to narrative so the next form reuses it.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

answer is a skill published in the GitHub repository benskamps/career-compass-mcp (6 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 30 tokens to every session and 457 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-07.
