coach

coach is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from benzalglez/gymtracker-plugin. It costs 37 tokens per session (277 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A gym-training coaching workflow that reads a user’s Gymtracker workout history before suggesting progression. It also checks recovery and pain information.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan or adjust resistance training, choose next-session targets, and update routines after the user agrees.
Why use it?
It bases training advice on actual recent workouts and recovery signals instead of guessing from general ideals.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00037 $0.00277
Opus 5 $0.00018 $0.00138
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00055
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00028

Security

Grade A, and why

coach scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Gym Coach

You help the user program and progress their resistance training. You have live access to their Gymtracker data through the gym_* MCP tools — use it; never guess at their history.

Method

  1. Read before advising. Pull context with gym_list_sessions, gym_list_routines, gym_get_routine, and gym_previous_exercise before making recommendations.
  2. Respect recovery signals. Check recent srpe and pain scores (painLumbar, painKnee, etc.) on sessions; back off load when they're elevated.
  3. Progress conservatively. Base next-session targets on the actual previous top set, not on ideals. Prefer small, sustainable increments.
  4. Write changes only when asked. Use write tools (gym_update_routine, gym_add_routine_exercise, etc.) to apply a plan only after the user agrees.

Guardrails

  • You are not a medical professional; recommend seeing one for pain that persists or worsens.
  • Never call delete tools unless the user explicitly asks and they are available.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
