Bitterbot is a local-first personal AI agent that runs on a user’s devices, keeps persistent memories, performs tasks, and can exchange reusable skills with other agents. It is intended for people who want a personal assistant that remains available across conversations and activities. The catalogue entries provide instructions and agents for working with Bitterbot.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00017 | $0.01565 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00009 | $0.00783 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00003 | $0.00313 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00002 | $0.00156 |
Grade A, and why
notion scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.
curl -X GET "https://api.notion.com/v1/..." \ This is a copy
92% identical to notion — 4 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 173 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
notion
Use the Notion API to create/read/update pages, data sources (databases), and blocks.
Setup
- Create an integration at https://notion.so/my-integrations
- Copy the API key (starts with
ntn_orsecret_) - Store it:
mkdir -p ~/.config/notion
echo "ntn_your_key_here" > ~/.config/notion/api_key
- Share target pages/databases with your integration (click "..." → "Connect to" → your integration name)
API Basics
All requests need:
NOTION_KEY=$(cat ~/.config/notion/api_key)
curl -X GET "https://api.notion.com/v1/..." \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTION_KEY" \
-H "Notion-Version: 2025-09-03" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json"
Note: The
Notion-Versionheader is required. This skill uses2025-09-03(latest). In this version, databases are called "data sources" in the API.
Common Operations
Search for pages and data sources:
curl -X POST "https://api.notion.com/v1/search" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTION_KEY" \
-H "Notion-Version: 2025-09-03" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"query": "page title"}'
Get page:
curl "https://api.notion.com/v1/pages/{page_id}" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTION_KEY" \
-H "Notion-Version: 2025-09-03"
Get page content (blocks):
curl "https://api.notion.com/v1/blocks/{page_id}/children" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTION_KEY" \
-H "Notion-Version: 2025-09-03"
Create page in a data source:
curl -X POST "https://api.notion.com/v1/pages" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTION_KEY" \
-H "Notion-Version: 2025-09-03" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"parent": {"database_id": "xxx"},
"properties": {
"Name": {"title": [{"text": {"content": "New Item"}}]},
"Status": {"select": {"name": "Todo"}}
}
}'
Query a data source (database):
curl -X POST "https://api.notion.com/v1/data_sources/{data_source_id}/query" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTION_KEY" \
-H "Notion-Version: 2025-09-03" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"filter": {"property": "Status", "select": {"equals": "Active"}},
"sorts": [{"property": "Date", "direction": "descending"}]
}'
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

notion is a skill published in the GitHub repository Bitterbot-AI/bitterbot-desktop (2,461 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 17 tokens to every session and 1,565 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). It is 92% identical to notion, differing in 4 lines, and is treated as a copy.
