content-extract

content-extract is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from blessonism/openclaw-skills. It costs 92 tokens per session (1,130 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A URL-to-Markdown content extractor for OpenClaw workflows. It first tries a normal web fetch, then uses MinerU’s online parsing service when the page is blocked, dynamic, or poorly extracted.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to extract or summarize web pages, especially difficult WeChat pages, and to retrieve GitHub repository information through the GitHub API.
Why use it?
It gives later workflows one consistent way to obtain readable content and keeps the original URL and extraction result traceable.

Which agent this was written for is unclear — built for openclaw. Also seen: built for openclaw.

Not installable: its command points at a path on the author’s own machine, so it runs nowhere else. The line is /home/node/.openclaw/workspace/skills/mineru-extract/scripts/mineru_parse_documents.py.

There is no command for this one: it runs only inside a plugin, and the catalogue could not identify which plugin ships it. The source is linked below.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00092 $0.01130
Opus 5 $0.00046 $0.00565
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00226
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00113

Measured 8d ago against content hash f89350725665, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

content-extract scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/content_extract.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 98 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

(Decision Tree)

输入:url

  • 白名单文件:references/domain-whitelist.md

  • 详见 references/heuristics.md 中的 GitHub fast path 章节
  • Auth: Authorization: token {GITHUB_PAT}(见 TOOLS.md)
Result Contract(engine: "github-api"
  1. Probe(低成本):优先用 web_fetch(url)
  • 目标:拿到正文 markdown(便宜、快)
  • 判断“失败/不合格”条件(见 references/heuristics.md)包括:
  1. Fallback(高保真):走 MinerU 官方 API
  • 调用下游 driver:skills/mineru-extract/scripts/mineru_parse_documents.py
(Result Contract)

{
  "ok": true,
  "source_url": "...",
  "engine": "web_fetch" ,
  "markdown": "...",
  "artifacts": {
    "out_dir": "...",
    "markdown_path": "...",
    "zip_path": "..."
  },
  "sources": [
    "原文URL",
    "(如使用MinerU)MinerU full_zip_url",
    "(如使用MinerU)本地markdown_path"
  ],
}

注意:engine 可能是 web_fetchminerugithub-api

python3 /home/node/.openclaw/workspace/skills/mineru-extract/scripts/mineru_parse_documents.py \
  --file-sources "<URL>" \
  --model-version MinerU-HTML \
  --emit-markdown --max-chars 20000

  • 输出必须包含 sources(原文入口 + 解析产物入口)。

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

content-extract is a skill published in the GitHub repository blessonism/openclaw-skills (55 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 92 tokens to every session and 1,130 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
