init-project

init-project is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from BlocUnited-LLC/mozaiks. It costs 23 tokens per session (1,050 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A setup guide for starting a Mozaiks project with one of four development tiers, from a headless AI API to a multi-user SaaS application. It scaffolds the selected project with the matching workflow, chat, authentication, operations, and event features.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to initialize an AI API, chatbot, or multi-user SaaS project with the appropriate Mozaiks preset and project name.
Why use it?
It helps choose a project size that matches the application instead of setting up the full stack when only a smaller part is needed.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00023 $0.01050
Opus 5 $0.00012 $0.00525
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00210
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00105

Security

Grade A, and why

init-project scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 150 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Help the user initialize a new Mozaiks project with the right tier preset.

Four Development Tiers

Mozaiks uses a tier system to reduce complexity for developers who don't need the full stack:

1. engine - Headless AI API

For: Backend developers building AI APIs Includes: AI workflow runtime only Use when: You want pure REST API for workflow execution, no UI

mozaiks init engine --name my-api

What you get:

  • AI workflow execution via REST API
  • No authentication, no UI, no operations
  • Minimal barrier to entry

2. chat - Chatbot Builders

For: Developers building chatbots and AI assistants Includes: AI workflows + chat UI Use when: You want a working chatbot with UI, but no complex backend

mozaiks init chat --name my-chatbot

What you get:

  • Everything from engine
  • Chat UI with workflow integration
  • Still no auth, operations, or event bus

3. integrated - SaaS Builders

For: Teams building multi-user SaaS products Includes: AI + chat + modules + event bus + auth Use when: You need deterministic app actions, user management, and event-driven automation

mozaiks init integrated --name my-saas

What you get:

  • Everything from chat
  • Operations (deterministic logic)
  • Event bus for workflow triggers
  • Provider-neutral OIDC/JWT authentication

4. full - Product Builders

For: Production products with admin needs Includes: Everything + admin portal + full management surfaces Use when: You need complete product infrastructure

mozaiks init full --name my-product

What you get:

  • Everything from integrated
  • Admin portal with observability
  • Full management surfaces
  • Token usage tracking

Workflow

When the user wants to create a new project:

  1. Ask what they're building:
    • "I want a simple chatbot" → chat
    • "I want an AI API" → engine
    • "I'm building a SaaS product" → integrated
    • "I need everything including admin" → full

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

init-project is a skill published in the GitHub repository BlocUnited-LLC/mozaiks (25 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 23 tokens to every session and 1,050 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
