Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00116 $0.02571
Opus 5 $0.00058 $0.01286
Sonnet 5 $0.00023 $0.00514
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00257

Measured 9d ago against content hash 54a3f4d64565, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

bloom-branding scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Bloom Branding Packs

Outcome

Confidently edit a branding pack and know exactly what makes the change show up in a real book, without guessing. Branding is data + CSS + assets that Bloom stamps onto a book's front/back matter at "bring up to date" time.

Branding folder anatomy

Each pack is src/content/branding/<Name>/:

  • branding.json — the data. A presets array; each entry sets a data-book value on the book's bloomDataDiv. Fields: data-book, lang (usually "*"), content (literal HTML/text), condition (always = always overwrite, ifEmpty = only fill if blank). A "//" key is a comment (ignored).
  • branding.less — pack-specific formatting. Must @import "../branding-base.less";. Compiles to branding.css.
  • image assets.png/.svg/.jpg referenced by branding.json (logos, the made-with-bloom badge). These must physically live in the pack folder.
  • summary.htm — human description; not used at runtime.

Division of labor (stated at top of branding-base.less): rules that place branding on an xmatter page go in bloom-xmatter-common.less / the xmatter's .less; rules that format branding go in branding-base.less or the pack's branding.less.

Common data-book branding slots

Set via branding.json presets; rendered by mixins in src/content/templates/xMatter/bloom-xmatter-mixins.pug:

  • xmatterselects the xmatter pack the branding uses (e.g. "MXBScripture" → MXBScripture-XMatter). This is how a branding picks its front/back matter.
  • outside-back-cover-branding-bottom-html — the back-cover badge (the "Made with Bloom" / QR badge).
  • title-page-branding-bottom-html — logo at the bottom of the title page.
  • cover-branding-top-html, cover-branding-bottom-html, credits-page-branding-bottom-html, inside-back-cover-branding-top-html, etc.
  • non-branding presets too: copyright, licenseUrl, funding, …

The "Made with Bloom" badge and QR code

This is the most common branding task and has real gotchas.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
