affiliatemcp: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/prepare-for-review/SKILL.md

prepare-for-review is a skill for Claude Code from bobberrisford/affiliatemcp. It costs 55 tokens per session (1,470 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A procedure for preparing an affiliate-data pull request so another developer can review it. It checks the branch, changes, dependencies, tests, and existing pull-request details before updating or opening the request.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to prepare, open, update, or request review for a pull request. It can create a draft pull request when the branch does not have one.
Why use it?
It turns incomplete or unclear development work into a documented review handoff. It records the intended user outcome, affected users, owning code layer, and readiness evidence.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00055 $0.01470
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.00735
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00294
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00147

Measured 12d ago against content hash ae2153390eb8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

prepare-for-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Prepare a pull request for review

Follow the delivery and review protocol in AGENTS.md. This skill prepares a reviewable handoff; it never merges a PR.

1. Inspect before changing PR state

Gather evidence, do not rely on the existing PR description:

git status --short --branch
git fetch origin
git diff --stat origin/main...HEAD
git diff origin/main...HEAD
git log --oneline origin/main..HEAD
gh pr view --json number,title,url,isDraft,baseRefName,headRefName,mergeable,mergeStateStatus,reviewDecision,reviewRequests,statusCheckRollup,body
gh pr list --state open --json number,title,url,isDraft,reviewDecision,reviewRequests
gh pr checks

If the PR targets a base other than main, compare against that base instead. Inspect the complete diff, including generated files and lockfiles. If the branch has no PR, complete the initial classification and verification, then create a draft PR using the applicable template. Never open a new PR as ready for review.

Classify and record:

  • one user outcome;
  • intended customer journey and affected cohort;
  • the owning architectural layer;
  • dependencies and whether they are merged;
  • workstream, dependency graph, lane, and semantic conflict domains;
  • public contracts changed;
  • risk domains and failure modes;
  • deliberately excluded scope;
  • changed-file count and additions.

2. Apply the readiness gates

Keep the PR draft and explain the next action when any gate fails:

  • The branch has conflicts, failed or pending required CI, or an unmerged dependency.
  • A product or architecture decision required by this PR remains unresolved. Propose a small decision PR using the decision template. Keep this PR to discovery or an explicitly disposable prototype; do not prepare production foundations or implementation for review.
  • The diff combines independent outcomes or separable high-risk domains. Propose concrete PR slices.
  • The review brief is incomplete or does not match the diff.
  • The agent has not inspected the complete diff.
  • The PR exceeds 1,000 additions or 20 files without a credible split rationale.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
