Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00036 $0.03102
Opus 5.5 $0.00014 $0.01241
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00620
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00310

Security

Grade A, and why

google-ads scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

When to Activate

Use this skill when:

  • Setting up a new Google Ads account or campaign
  • Choosing campaign types and structures
  • Writing ad copy (RSAs, headlines, descriptions)
  • Optimizing keyword strategy and match types
  • Setting bidding strategies and budgets
  • Improving Quality Score
  • Setting up Performance Max or Shopping campaigns
  • Troubleshooting underperforming campaigns

First Questions

Before building Google Ads campaigns, clarify:

  1. What is the business goal? (Leads, sales, traffic, brand awareness)
  2. What is the monthly budget? (Determines viable campaign types and keyword competitiveness)
  3. What is the target CPA or ROAS? (Profitability benchmarks)
  4. Who is the target audience? (Demographics, intent, geography)
  5. What is the product/service and its unique selling proposition?
  6. Is conversion tracking properly set up? (Google Tag, GA4, offline conversions)
  7. What competitors are advertising on the same keywords?
  8. Is this a new account or existing? (Historical data affects strategy)

Core Rules

  1. Conversion tracking before campaigns. Never spend money without accurate conversion tracking. This is non-negotiable.
  2. Start with Search. Expand to other types. Search captures existing demand. Other campaign types generate demand.
  3. Match type strategy beats keyword volume. A tight keyword strategy with the right match types outperforms thousands of broad keywords.
  4. Quality Score is a tax or a discount. High Quality Score = lower CPC. Low Quality Score = higher CPC for the same position.
  5. Negative keywords are as important as positive keywords. What you exclude determines ROI as much as what you target.
  6. Let smart bidding work — but set it up right. Automated bidding needs 30+ conversions per month per campaign to optimize effectively.
  7. Test ad copy continuously. Ad fatigue is real. Refresh creatives every 4-6 weeks.
  8. Structure determines success. Campaign and ad group structure is the foundation everything else builds on.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
