tiktok-reels-shorts-editor

tiktok-reels-shorts-editor is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from brajendrak00068/agentic-ai-video-production. It costs 31 tokens per session (777 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A video editor for turning wide 16:9 footage into vertical 9:16 short videos. It tracks the subject, keeps the active speaker in view, and can add captions and trim the clip.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to make vertical clips for short-form video platforms, keep speakers centred through cuts, trim longer footage into short segments, and add captions.
Why use it?
Landscape footage does not naturally fit phone-first vertical formats. Reframing and shortening it by hand can require repeated cropping and timing work.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00031 $0.00777
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00311
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00155
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00078

Security

Grade A, and why

tiktok-reels-shorts-editor scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Vertical Short-Form Video Editor

Reframe horizontal 16:9 footage into 9:16 vertical short-form videos with subject tracking and captions.

Setup

This skill calls the Levea (livecore.ai) editing service, which requires a Levea account and API key.

  1. Sign up and generate an API key at https://livecore.ai/?openclaw=1&utm_source=clawhub&utm_medium=skill&utm_campaign=tiktok-reels-shorts-editor
  2. Provide the key to the tool you use:
    • OpenClaw plugin openclaw-ai-video-editor (ClawHub): set apiKey in the plugin config.
    • MCP server levea-mcp-server (npm): set LEVEA_API_KEY in the MCP server config. LEVEA_API_URL is optional and defaults to https://api.livecore.ai.
  3. Describe the edit you want in plain language; the tool returns a project ID and, after export, an MP4 URL.

When to use

  • Converting 16:9 landscape footage into a 9:16 vertical aspect ratio.
  • Keeping the active speaker centered within the vertical frame across camera cuts.
  • Trimming a long clip into a 15-to-60 second vertical short with captions.

Tool interface

Use the registered ai-video-editor (OpenClaw plugin) or autonomous_edit (MCP server) tool to run edits against a project timeline.

Tool parameters

  • prompt (string, required): Description of the video edit to perform.
  • project_id (string, optional): Project identifier returned by a prior call for multi-turn continuity.
  • video_url (string, optional): Source video URL when starting a new project.
  • captionTemplatePreset (string, optional): Built-in caption style slug (for example hormozi, viral-pop, karaoke, minimal-pro).
  • captionTemplateMode (string, optional): One of add, recreate, style, translate, clear, remove_fillers.
  • requirePlanApproval (boolean, optional): When true, pauses after planning and returns workingMemory for user confirmation.
  • workingMemory (object, optional): State object from a paused plan-approval call.

Example tool input

{
  "prompt": "Trim this clip to the strongest 30-second hook, reframe to 9:16 vertical with speaker tracking, and add bottom captions.",
  "project_id": "project_example_01"
}

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
