trove-dispatch

trove-dispatch is a skill for Claude Code from bravew/trove. It costs 24 tokens per session (317 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for splitting independent work between coding agents and combining their results safely. It keeps tasks that depend on each other in sequence.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to map a multi-part request, delegate bounded side tasks, assign separate file areas, and verify the complete change after integration.
Why use it?
It prevents agents from duplicating work, editing the same files, or starting tasks that are blocked by unfinished work. It also makes dependencies and file ownership clear.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00024 $0.00317
Opus 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00127
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00063
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

trove-dispatch scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Session Init

This skill ships Trove conventions. Prefer existing project patterns over generic best practices when they conflict.

If a sibling skill in this plugin matches the request more directly, defer to it. See AGENTS.md (or docs/routing.md in the marketplace) for the per-plugin routing index.

trove-dispatch

Independent work fans out; dependent work runs sequentially.

Workflow

  1. Split the request into concrete tasks.
  2. Mark dependencies between tasks.
  3. Keep the next blocking task local.
  4. Delegate only bounded sidecar work with a clear output.
  5. For code edits, assign disjoint file ownership and tell workers they are not alone in the codebase.
  6. Integrate results and verify the whole change locally.

Decision Gate: dispatch map

Context: Parallel work is useful only when tasks do not block or overwrite each other. Question: Which tasks are actually independent? Options:

  • A. Dispatch independent sidecar tasks.
  • B. Keep work local because tasks are coupled.
  • C. Ask the user to choose priority. Default: B, because bad parallelism creates merge and reasoning debt.

Guardrails

Do not delegate the immediate next blocker. Do not spawn multiple agents for the same unresolved question.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

trove-dispatch is a skill published in the GitHub repository bravew/trove (10 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 24 tokens to every session and 317 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-11.
