Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.02436
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00974
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00487
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00244

Security

Grade A, and why

katashiro-canvas-writing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 163 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

A markdown canvas is a document the user reads beside the chat. Plain paragraphs and bullet lists work, but the canvas has blocks that make a document scannable. This skill says which block for which job, the few syntaxes that break, and how to edit without fighting the editor.

Requirements

  • The current chat is a Katashiro chat, so katashiro.canvas_* tools are available.
  • For a page the user should interact with (sort, filter, simulate), use an html canvas instead, and the katashiro-canvas-file skill to upload it. For an interactive system diagram, use katashiro-archify. This skill is about markdown (and slides) canvases.

1. Pick the block by what the content is

The content is… Write it as Not as
2–4 parallel things to compare (options, axes, principles) ::: cards with one ### per card three paragraphs in a row
A rule, a warning, a caveat the reader must not miss > [!NOTE] / [!TIP] / [!IMPORTANT] / [!WARNING] / [!CAUTION] (optional title after the marker) bold text in a paragraph
A short good/bad example line > ✅ … / > ⚠️ … / > ℹ️ … (emoji callout, no title row; only these three, and the emoji must be the first character — ❌ / 💡 stay a plain quote) a quote with no colour
Fields, options, numbers with several attributes a table (header row, ---: for numbers) nested bullets
Terms and their meanings, events and when they fire definition list: Term then : meaning on the next line **Term**: meaning paragraphs
An enum or a list of values a bullet list, one value per line a · b · c · d on one line
A source, a version, an aside a footnote [^1] with [^1]: … at the end parentheses in the sentence
The one phrase that carries the point ==highlight== (once or twice per document) bold everywhere
Something that is not what it seems ++underline++ sparingly ALL CAPS
Architecture, flow, sequence a ```mermaid fence (see §3) an ASCII drawing
Code, JSON, commands a fenced block with its language inline code for multi-line text

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
