Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00107 | $0.01666 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00053 | $0.00833 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00021 | $0.00333 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00167 |
Grade A, and why
canvas-quiz-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 148 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Canvas Quiz Review
Educator skill for analysing quiz performance, investigating per-student answers, and regrading individual question scores — all from your agent session.
canvas-lms-mcp is the only Canvas MCP server with quiz tools. No other Canvas MCP server exposes list_quizzes, get_quiz, or score_quiz_question. This skill is a unique differentiator.
Prerequisites
- Canvas MCP server must be running and connected.
- You must have instructor or TA role in the target course.
- Student answers and scores are visible in output — only run this in a private or educator-only session.
- Regrading (
score_quiz_question) requires instructor role. TA role may be restricted depending on institution settings.
Steps
1. Identify the Target Course
Ask the user which course to work with. Accept a course name, course code, or Canvas ID.
2. Select a Quiz
Call list_quizzes with the course ID. This returns all quizzes with their title, question count, point total, due date, and time limit.
Present a summary and let the user select:
Quizzes — [Course Name]
• "Midterm Quiz" — 25 questions, 50 pts, due Mar 15, time limit: 60 min
• "Week 4 Check-in" — 10 questions, 20 pts, due Apr 5, no time limit
• "Final Exam Quiz" — 50 questions, 100 pts, due May 1, time limit: 120 min
3. Choose a Mode
| Mode | When to use |
|---|---|
| Quiz overview | See score distribution and flag struggling questions |
| Per-student answers | Review one student's answer sheet |
| Regrade a question | Adjust the score for one question on one submission |
4A. Quiz Overview — Score Distribution and Struggling Questions
- Call
get_quizwith the course ID and quiz ID. Note the question count and total points. - Call
list_quiz_submissionswith the course ID and quiz ID. This returns all submissions with each student's score, attempt count, and workflow state. - Call
list_quiz_questionswith the course ID and quiz ID to get each question's title, type, and point value.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

canvas-quiz-review is a skill published in the GitHub repository bruchris/canvas-lms-mcp (5 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 107 tokens to every session and 1,666 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
