What is django-fastapi-project?

A project starter that combines Django with FastAPI, a Python framework for serving web APIs. Django handles the main application while FastAPI serves the API alongside it, with optional tools for tests, typed data, database access, and data analysis.

Use it to bootstrap a Django application with a FastAPI API, pytest tests, Pydantic data types, SQLAlchemy database access, and optionally pandas and NumPy.

It removes the manual work of setting up a Django and FastAPI hybrid project. It gives the two frameworks a prepared structure for working together.
