gf-repo

gf-repo is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from byx-darwin/gitflow-cli. It costs 54 tokens per session (1,812 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A planned interface for working with Git repositories through the `gf` command-line tool. The documented repository commands include cloning, listing, inspecting, creating, and syncing repositories, but the command group is not yet implemented.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it as documentation for intended repository operations; currently, use ordinary Git or another available hosting CLI for the actual work.
Why use it?
It describes one consistent workflow for repositories hosted on GitHub, GitLab, or GitCode, while clearly noting that the planned commands are unavailable.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00054 $0.01812
Opus 5 $0.00027 $0.00906
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00362
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00181

Measured 5d ago against content hash b3a542c80687, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

gf-repo scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

[PLANNED] The gf repo command group is not yet implemented. The commands documented below (gf repo clone, gf repo list, etc.) do not currently exist in the CLI. Use git clone, gh repo list, etc. as alternatives. See Issue #179.

gf-repo

Overview

Encapsulates read and write operations for gf repo. Covers clone/list/stats/view (read-only) and create/sync (write operations require confirmation).

CLI Requirement

MUST use gf CLI, NOT gh CLI.

CLI Scope Platform Support
gf This project GitHub + GitLab + GitCode
gh GitHub only GitHub only

Why: gf is the unified CLI for this project. Using gh breaks GitLab/GitCode compatibility.

Preconditions

  • gf installed: command -v gf
  • gf authenticated: gf auth status

When to Use

Trigger 中文 Redirect
clone / 拉代码 clone, 拉代码
list / my repos 列出仓库, repo list
仓库统计 统计, stars, forks
仓库信息 仓库详情, 查看
create / new repo 创建仓库, 新建
sync fork / 同步 fork 同步 fork, upstream
PR workflow gf-pr

When NOT to Use

Scenario Why Not Use Instead
Generating a project onboarding guide This skill performs repo operations, not onboarding analysis /gf-repo-onboarding for read-only onboarding walkthrough
Pushing without explicit confirmation This skill requires user confirmation before all push operations Non-negotiable — always show diff and await user OK
Deleting a repository This skill has no delete subcommand Platform web UI
Creating Pull Requests This skill manages repos, not PRs /gf-pr for PR lifecycle operations
Auto-adding upstream remote This skill requires user to supply upstream URL Always ask user for upstream URL before adding remote
Bulk cloning all org repos This skill requires confirmation before bulk operations Use --limit flag and confirm before bulk clone

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
