is-it-agent-ready

is-it-agent-ready is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Cameloo1/agent-friendly. It costs 90 tokens per session (1,272 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for safely scanning and interpreting whether one public website is ready for AI agents, using an unofficial Cloudflare Agent Readiness Scanner integration. It can save, export, compare, and explain scan evidence, and guide verified fixes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to audit content sites, applications, APIs, or developer platforms; retain or compare scans; and work through verified improvements.
Why use it?
It turns a website-readiness check into evidence that can be reviewed, compared, and acted on.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00090 $0.01272
Opus 5 $0.00045 $0.00636
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00254
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00127

Security

Grade A, and why

is-it-agent-ready scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Is It Agent Ready

Safely scan and interpret one user-authorized public website with the bundled MCP tools. This is an unofficial integration; never imply that Cloudflare authored or endorsed it.

Refuse unsafe targets

Before calling the tool, confirm the request names the exact public site to scan. Refuse:

  • Schemes other than http or https.
  • Usernames, passwords, query strings, or fragments in the URL.
  • Localhost, loopback, link-local, private, shared, multicast, reserved, documentation, intranet, .local, .internal, .localhost, .lan, or cloud-metadata targets.
  • Additional domains discovered during a scan unless the user separately requests them.

Use only the bundled scan_site or scan_site_and_save tool. Their gateway repeats these checks, resolves hostnames, and blocks any non-public address before contacting the remote scanner. Never bypass it by calling https://isitagentready.com/mcp directly.

Select the scan

Choose the smallest applicable profile:

  • content: blogs, documentation, portfolios, marketing sites, and other content-first sites.
  • apiApp: SaaS products, applications, APIs, and developer platforms where commerce checks do not apply.
  • all: commerce sites, uncertain site types, or an explicit request for every check.

Use enabledChecks instead of profile only for a named-check request or focused re-test. Valid names are:

robotsTxt, sitemap, linkHeaders, dnsAid, markdownNegotiation, robotsTxtAiRules, contentSignals, webBotAuth, apiCatalog, oauthDiscovery, oauthProtectedResource, authMd, mcpServerCard, a2aAgentCard, agentSkills, webMcp, x402, mpp, ucp, acp, ap2.

Do not send both profile and enabledChecks.

Run once and report evidence

  1. State the selected profile or checks and why they fit.
  2. Call scan_site once. If the user explicitly asks to retain, export, save, or open the result as a report, call scan_site_and_save instead.
  3. Preserve the returned level, pass/fail status, exclusions, evidence, timing, and specification links. Do not turn excluded or not-applicable checks into failures.
  4. Never compute a replacement score or infer missing checks from a partial result.
  5. Treat the score as directional evidence, not production certification.
  6. Link the returned report URL. If the completed scan omits one, use https://isitagentready.com/<hostname> and label it as the public report route.
  7. For a saved scan, report the returned scan ID plus the JSON, Markdown, and HTML viewer paths. Never claim a save succeeded without those returned paths.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
