Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00039 | $0.00781 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00016 | $0.00312 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00008 | $0.00156 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00078 |
Grade A, and why
choreo-create scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 60 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Build from real Choreo examples
The gallery's catalog is packages/choreo-gallery/realm/demos/<id>.json, one
GalleryDemo card per demo (title, group, API pills, usage sample, walkthrough,
lesson). Each demo adopts from its stage,
packages/choreo-gallery/realm/stages/<id>.gts, and a demo with a Deep Dive
has its note in packages/choreo-gallery/realm/notes/<id>.gts. Read the
selected example before adapting it. Imports use glimmer-motion,
@cardstack/choreo, @cardstack/choreo/film, or the separate
@cardstack/choreo-player package; verify unfamiliar APIs against exported
source (packages/glimmer-motion/src/index.ts, packages/choreo/src/index.ts).
Choose only the guidance needed
- For an animation pattern, read
.claude/skills/motion-pattern/SKILL.md, then its selected specialist. The shared Glimmer invariants are the three rules inmotion-element; do not repeat them in every implementation note. - For gates, derived motion, commands, delivery or custom vocabulary, read advanced-orchestration.md.
- For camera coordinates, live DOM projection, picture actors or film clocks, read spatial-and-film.md.
- For combining examples into an application or narrative, read composition-recipes.md.
- For DialKit, presets or capture mechanics, read tuning-and-recording.md.
Identify the semantic state, participant identities, property owners and clock before composing. Reuse the existing implementation rather than constructing a second preview-only motion system. Keep shared variables shared and independent transitions independent. Preserve user input during interruptible movement.
Teaching and tuning
Every gallery demo carries a lesson (concept guide, why, experiment, pitfall,
composition idea) in packages/choreo-gallery/realm/demos/<id>.json. The
concept guides are packages/choreo-gallery/realm/docs/guides/*.md.
packages/choreo-gallery/tools/api-inventory.json maps public APIs to concept
guides; look up the relevant entries rather than loading it whole. For a
tutorial, isolate one observable relationship and predict the result of a
parameter change. The docs-only spatial/film studies in
packages/choreo-gallery/realm/design/docs-studies-plan.md are planned, not shipped.
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

choreo-create is a skill published in the GitHub repository cardstack/boxel (27 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 39 tokens to every session and 781 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-21.
