VibeHarness: Skill for Claude Code

.agent/skills/ui-design-mvp/SKILL.md

ui-design-mvp is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from ccivlcid/VibeHarness. It costs 51 tokens per session (250 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for designing clean, responsive interfaces for early-stage products using a set of reusable interface components and styling rules. Responsive means the layout adapts to phones, tablets, and larger screens.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to improve TSX or CSS screens, add responsive layouts or dark mode, and adjust spacing, colors, text sizes, and interface components.
Why use it?
It gives visual work a consistent structure when an interface looks plain, crowded, too small, or difficult to use on mobile devices.

This is ccivlcid/VibeHarness's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on VibeHarness itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything VibeHarness configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00051 $0.00250
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00125
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00050
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00025

Security

Grade A, and why

ui-design-mvp scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

UI Design — Clean MVP Design

Check docs/biz/ for screen flow before designing. Update Progress.md after UI completion.

Principles

  1. Keep it simple: Fewer elements look more professional. Only what's necessary
  2. Stay consistent: Unify colors, fonts, spacing. Use shadcn/ui default theme
  3. Mobile first: Start with small screens, expand with md: lg: prefixes
  4. Generous spacing: Use ample padding and gap values

Responding to Non-Developer Requests

  • "Make it prettier" — Apply shadcn/ui components + fix spacing and colors
  • "It looks too plain" — Add gradients, hover effects, icons
  • "Change to ~ color" — Modify the --primary color variable
  • "Text is too small" — Increase from text-base to text-lg
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
