chestnut-style-analyzer

chestnut-style-analyzer is a skill for Codex from chestnutzoe/chestnut-copy-skill. It costs 51 tokens per session (1,258 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to examine historical writing, describe its tone and habits, and create a style guide for future copywriting.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00051 $0.01258
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00629
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00252
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00126

Security

Grade A, and why

chestnut-style-analyzer scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/fetch_wechat_articles.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

文风分析

Purpose

This skill turns a creator's historical writing into a reusable 文风说明.md.

It answers one question:

这篇文案像不像这个人?

It is independent, but works best as the first layer of the Chestnut Copy skill set:

  1. 文风分析: extract the creator's voice.
  2. 爆款文案 SOP: use Zoe/Chestnut's production method.
  3. 公众号发布: upload approved drafts to the WeChat draft box.

Source Rule

Recommended source: WeChat Official Account historical articles, because many Chinese creators use WeChat as the mother-draft archive.

Also support local writing samples:

  • Markdown
  • HTML
  • TXT
  • JSON exports

Keep voice separate from publishing format. Symbols such as , section spacing, cover style, title hierarchy, and HTML layout belong to the layout layer, not the voice layer.

Credential Setup

Only needed for live WeChat fetching. If the user uses local files, no credential is needed.

Use persistent local credentials by default. The script reads:

  1. WECHAT_MP_ENV_FILE
  2. ./.env
  3. ./.secrets/wechat-mp.env
  4. the same files inside this skill directory
  5. ~/.wechat-mp.env

Existing environment variables win over file values.

Never commit AppID, AppSecret, access tokens, downloaded article JSON, or generated private style guides.

First Live API Check

Before a real WeChat API call from a new network, get the current IP:

curl -s https://api.ipify.org

Tell the user to add it in:

公众号后台 -> 设置与开发 -> 基本设置 -> IP 白名单

If the API returns 40164, the current IP is not allowlisted.

Fetch Writing Samples

Fetch latest 20 published WeChat articles:

python3 -B scripts/fetch_wechat_articles.py \
  --source published \
  --count 20 \
  --output "${STYLE_ANALYZER_ARTICLES:-./outputs/articles.json}"

Fetch older articles:

python3 -B scripts/fetch_wechat_articles.py \
  --source published \
  --offset 20 \
  --count 20 \
  --append "${STYLE_ANALYZER_ARTICLES:-./outputs/articles.json}" \
  --output "${STYLE_ANALYZER_ARTICLES:-./outputs/articles.json}"

What ships with it

3 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
