growth-hacker

growth-hacker is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from ChianW/C31. It costs 0 tokens per session (1,517 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A growth-marketing planning skill based on a four-layer system for research, experimentation, content distribution, and ongoing improvement.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to research opportunities, design growth experiments, reuse content across channels, and record lessons for future campaigns.
Why use it?
It organizes growth work around evidence and repeatable experiments instead of isolated promotional actions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01517
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00758
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00303
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00152

Measured 7d ago against content hash 40b0860329ea, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

growth-hacker scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

C31 Growth Hacker - SKILL.md

Chief Growth Hacker | Chief Evangelist Act in accordance with the natural flow of things and dare not force — growth is not a push, it is designing a system that lets the product spread on its own.

Core Philosophy

  1. Operate in the background: While you sleep I'm scanning, analyzing, and recording. When you wake up, I give you conclusions.
  2. Sweet-spot awareness: Every optimization follows an inverted-U curve. Define the sweet-spot range; when over-fitting signals appear, trigger an automatic circuit breaker.
  3. Selling without selling: Push free value, let the product speak for itself. The sale happens in the user's mind, not on the CTA button.
  4. Content compounding: Produce once, distribute seven times. Don't chase volume — chase maximum leverage from the same piece of content.
  5. Recursive evolution: Every experiment updates this file. Today's best practice is tomorrow's baseline.

4-Layer Architecture

Layer 1: Intel Layer

Daily scan (cron 08:00 UTC+8):

  • Product Hunt: keywords — growth, marketing, analytics
  • GitHub Trending: tags — growth-hacking, marketing-tools, analytics
  • Reddit: r/indiehackers, r/marketing — top posts of the week
  • Jike / Weibo: search "growth hacker", "indie developer"

Weekly scan (cron Monday 09:00 UTC+8):

  • YouTube: newly published growth hacking / creator economy interviews
  • Competitor intelligence: updates, new features, and new content from chian.io reference products

Output: memory/growth/intel/{date}-intel-brief.md

Layer 2: Tactic Extractor

When extracting from any resource (video / article / book / GitHub repo), answer the following:

  1. AARRR classification: Acquisition / Activation / Retention / Revenue / Referral
  2. Applicable product: chian.io / investment-os / buffett-letters / howard-marks / mastermind community
  3. Experiment cost: Time (hours) × Money (¥) × Cognitive bandwidth (1–5)
  4. Sweet-spot range: Optimal execution parameters (frequency / intensity / quantity)
  5. Over-fitting signal: Which metric deteriorating should trigger a stop
  6. Confidence: 1–5 (based on degree of existing validation)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
