Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00026 | $0.01552 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00621 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00310 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00155 |
Grade A, and why
announcement-digest scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 173 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Announcement Digest
Adapt for your source — swap the @[SOURCE] label, names, and classification rules.
This is a sanitized version of a working school-email digest skill.

v1.0 — Announcement email digest skill
Compile a digest of high-volume announcement emails from a single source (school, employer, nonprofit, professional association). Extract what matters, skip the noise, send a summary.
Prerequisites
- Gmail MCP — for searching and reading emails
- Gmail label + filter — all source emails auto-labeled (e.g.,
@School,@CompanyNews) - Classification rules — a config file with your calibrated rules (see walkthrough)
- send-email.py or equivalent — for sending the compiled digest
Config & State Files
- Rules:
[YOUR_CONFIG_PATH]/digest-rules.md - State:
[YOUR_STATE_PATH]/digest-state.json
State file tracks: last_digest_date, digest_count, reported_message_ids, reported_message_ids_ttl_days (default 30).
Execution Steps
Step 1: Read State & Check Frequency
- Read
digest-state.json. - If
last_digest_dateis not null and fewer than 2 days have passed:- Output: "Nothing new since [last_digest_date]. Next digest available [date]."
- Exit.
- Store
digest_count(needed for first-time intro check at Step 5).
Step 2: Fetch Labeled Emails
- Compute lookback date:
last_digest_dateif set, otherwise 14 days ago. - Search Gmail:
label:[YOUR_LABEL] after:[lookback_date in YYYY/MM/DD]- Do NOT use
is:unread— labeled emails may or may not be marked read. Query by date range. - Page through all results (follow
next_page_token).
- Do NOT use
- Filter out any message IDs already in
reported_message_ids. - If no new emails remain, exit with message.
Step 3: Fetch Email Content
- For each new message, fetch full content via
get_gmail_message_content.- Fetch in parallel batches of 10.
- Group messages by Gmail thread ID. Keep only the most recent non-you message per thread.
- Accumulate total word count across all fetched message bodies.
- Prune
reported_message_ids: Remove IDs older thanreported_message_ids_ttl_days.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

announcement-digest is a skill published in the GitHub repository chrisblattman/claudeblattman (476 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 26 tokens to every session and 1,552 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-06.
