app-store-connect

app-store-connect is a skill for Claude Code from chrischall/app-store-connect-mcp. It costs 103 tokens per session (669 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for working with Apple App Store Connect, Apple’s service for managing apps, releases, beta testing, customer reviews, sales reports, and team access.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps list apps and builds, manage TestFlight beta testers and groups, read and answer customer reviews, download sales and finance reports, and manage team users.
Why use it?
It puts those App Store Connect operations behind one set of agent actions instead of requiring manual navigation through the service.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00103 $0.00669
Opus 5 $0.00051 $0.00334
Sonnet 5 $0.00021 $0.00134
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00067

Measured 8d ago against content hash 97d20f4836de, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

app-store-connect scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Team Users

  • list_users, list_user_invitations, invite_user

Health

  • asc_healthcheck — Is this connector working? Reports which of the three key settings resolved, whether App Store Connect accepted the signed JWT, and what to fix. Start here when another tool fails: a 401 here means a revoked key, a key/issuer team mismatch, or local clock drift — never a wrong password.

Setup

Generate an App Store Connect API key at appstoreconnect.apple.com → Users and Access → Integrations. Set:

  • APP_STORE_CONNECT_KEY_ID
  • APP_STORE_CONNECT_ISSUER_ID
  • APP_STORE_CONNECT_PRIVATE_KEY_PATH (absolute path to .p8)

The MCP signs short-lived JWTs locally; your private key never leaves the machine.

Tips

  • App Store Connect IDs (apps, builds, testers) are the long numeric strings shown in tool output, not the bundle ID or version string.
  • For sales reports, find the vendorNumber in App Store Connect → Payments and Financial Reports. Daily reports are typically available ~24 hours after the date closes.
  • Most TestFlight write operations require an API key with App Manager or Admin role.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
