set-repo-path

set-repo-path is a skill for Claude Code from christian289/dotnet-with-claudecode. It costs 84 tokens per session (478 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A configuration helper that records the local path and branch of the repository containing WPF knowledge for a server to read.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to configure or relocate the local WPF knowledge repository.
Why use it?
It sets up the repository location the server needs when it has not been configured or the clone has moved.

Skill for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: disable-model-invocation in frontmatter. Also seen: names the AskUserQuestion tool; positional $N argument.

Runs only inside its plugin — its command needs a path that Claude Code sets for a plugin’s own hooks and for nothing else. Install the plugin, not this.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00084 $0.00478
Opus 5.5 $0.00034 $0.00191
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00017 $0.00096
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00048

Measured 1mo ago against content hash 1bb60f77427e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

set-repo-path scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Set WpfDevPackMcp Repository Path

Records the on-disk location of a local clone of christian289/dotnet-with-claudecode so the WpfDevPackMcp MCP server can serve WPF knowledge topics from knowledge/ (at the repo root).

If $0 is empty, use AskUserQuestion to ask for the absolute path to the local clone (e.g., C:/Users/<you>/src/dotnet-with-claudecode). Do NOT proceed until a path is provided. Optionally accept a branch as $1 (default main).

Run the file-based app to validate and persist the path:

dotnet "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/SetWpfDevPackRepoPath.cs" "$0" "$1"

Surface the app's output verbatim, including any ! warnings (path missing, no .git, etc.). After it succeeds, tell the user the WpfDevPackMcp tools are now usable and that the server will clone/pull the repo as needed.

Companion skills

  • /wpf-dev-pack:show-wpf-dev-pack-config — view the current config.json / state.json paths and values (and any WPFDEVPACK_REPO_PATH env override).
  • /wpf-dev-pack:set-repo-branch <branch> — change the tracked branch (preserves repoPath).
  • /wpf-dev-pack:set-repo-managed <true|false> — control whether refresh hard-resets the clone. Set false if you ever point repoPath at your own working repo, so a refresh cannot git reset --hard your working tree.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
