agentics-beyond-code: Skill for Codex

.github/skills/agentic-workflow-planner/SKILL.md

agentic-workflow-planner is a skill for Codex from chrizbo/agentics-beyond-code. It costs 214 tokens per session (1,499 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A platform-neutral planner for deciding which agent-assisted workflows a team should adopt before building them on GitHub, Claude, Productboard, Atlassian, or Google Workspace.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assess current work, design workflows and human approval points, and hand the plan to a platform-specific builder.
Why use it?
It separates assessing and designing a process from implementing it on a particular platform, reducing the risk of choosing a tool too early.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00214 $0.01499
Opus 5.5 $0.00086 $0.00600
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00043 $0.00300
Haiku 4.5 $0.00021 $0.00150

Security

Grade A, and why

agentic-workflow-planner scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 18d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Agentic Workflow Planner

This skill covers the two platform-neutral steps of the Agentics Beyond Code pipeline:

Assess  ->  Design  ->  Build (github-workflow-builder |
                               claude-native-workflow-builder |
                               productboard-agent-builder |
                               atlassian-agent-builder |
                               google-workspace-agent-builder |
                               microsoft-365-agent-builder)

It diagnoses what the work signals say, designs the smallest useful workflow set, picks where each workflow should run, and hands a finished design to a platform builder. It does not create workflows, Routines, or Spark skills itself.

Installed plugin context

When installed as a plugin, resolve bundled repository paths from the package root (three directories above this SKILL.md), not the user's working folder. Resolve references/, prompts/, and assets/ relative to this skill folder. The package is reference material; create deliverables in the user's selected workspace and assess the user's artifacts, never the bundled demo data. For an explicitly supplied source checkout, read that checkout's current files. A checkout is the current working directory when it is this repository, or a path the user gives. Never search the file system for one (no find /, mdfind, or home-directory scans): that is slow and triggers operating-system privacy prompts. Use the pinned source index instead. The directory plugin does not bundle runtime workflows, helper scripts, or demo data. Before using a repository path outside this skill, read docs/source-access.md at the package root. It explains how to locate and fetch specific files from the recorded public source revision. If source access is unavailable, request a checkout or the relevant files; do not invent a workflow or say it was read. Blank templates and assessment references work offline. Installing these skills does not connect services, install gh/gh aw, or activate workflows or scheduled tasks. Check available tools before using them.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

agentic-workflow-planner is a skill published in the GitHub repository chrizbo/agentics-beyond-code (34 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 214 tokens to every session and 1,499 once invoked, about $0.0009 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-30.
