Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00069 | $0.01654 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00028 | $0.00662 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00014 | $0.00331 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00165 |
Grade A, and why
ess-gh-repo-mirror scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 172 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Mirror a GitHub Repo
Copy a GitHub repo's default branch and all of its tags into a repo under another owner or org, and keep that copy in sync with the source.
This is most useful for GitHub Actions. Orgs often restrict workflows to Actions hosted in
the org itself, so a workflow cannot reference some-org/some-action@v4 directly. Mirroring
copies the versions you want into your own org, and workflows reference the mirror instead,
for example your-org/some-action@v4. Because tags come along, existing version pins keep
working after you swap the owner.
Inputs
| Input | Format | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Source | https://github.com/<org>/<repo> or <org>/<repo> |
Required |
| Target | <owner> or <owner>/<name> |
Required; ask if not given. Name defaults to the source repo name. |
| Visibility | private, internal, or public |
private |
| Remote | Git remote name for the target | The target owner |
private is the tightest visibility: only people explicitly granted access can read the repo.
internal makes it readable by every member of the enterprise and exists only for orgs on
GitHub Enterprise. Use a looser visibility only when the user asks for it.
Workflow
1. Clone the source (skip if already present)
git clone https://github.com/<org>/<repo>.git
cd <repo>
Clone next to the current repo unless the user names another location.
2. Confirm before writing anything remote
Check whether the target exists:
gh repo view <owner>/<name> --json visibility 2>/dev/null
Then show the user a summary and wait for an explicit yes:
- Source
<org>/<repo>and its default branch - Target
<owner>/<name>, and whether it will be created or already exists - Visibility (for an existing repo, its current visibility)
- Remote name
- For an Action: the repos whose workflows will use it, and the access level that lets them (work these out as described in step 7)
Stop on anything but yes.
3. Create the target repo (skip if it exists)
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
