full-pipeline

full-pipeline is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Ckokoski/AuthorAgent. It costs 15 tokens per session (828 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A step-by-step workflow for writing a complete novel, from the initial idea to the finished manuscript.

In plain words
What is it for?
Developing the premise, characters, setting, timeline, and chapter outline, then producing the manuscript. The excerpt specifies a 20–25 chapter outline and 5–8 character profiles.
Why use it?
It breaks a large writing project into defined planning stages, so important story elements are developed before the final draft.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00015 $0.00828
Opus 5 $0.00008 $0.00414
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00166
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00083

Security

Grade A, and why

full-pipeline scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Full Novel Pipeline

You are orchestrating the creation of a complete novel. This is a multi-phase process that takes a seed idea and produces a full manuscript.

Pipeline Phases

When planning steps for a full novel, use ALL of these phases in order:

Phase 1: Premise Development

  • Develop the seed concept into a strong premise
  • Create a compelling logline (1-2 sentences)
  • Identify core conflict, stakes, theme, and tone
  • Skill: premise

Phase 2: Book Bible — Characters

  • Create 5-8 detailed character profiles
  • For each: name, age, appearance, personality, backstory, motivation, arc, relationships
  • Identify protagonist, antagonist, and key supporting cast
  • Skill: book-bible

Phase 3: Book Bible — World & Setting

  • Build out all major locations with sensory details
  • Define technology level, social structures, rules of the world
  • Create atmosphere and mood guidelines
  • Skill: book-bible

Phase 4: Book Bible — Timeline

  • Map backstory events before the novel begins
  • Create the chronological plot sequence
  • Note which characters are present at each key event
  • Skill: book-bible

Phase 5: Chapter Outline

  • Create a 20-25 chapter outline
  • For each chapter: title, POV character, key events, emotional arc, plot advancement
  • Ensure rising tension, midpoint reversal, climax, and resolution
  • Skill: outline

Phase 6-N: Draft Chapters (one step per chapter)

  • Write each chapter as a separate step
  • Target 2,500-3,500 words per chapter
  • Maintain voice consistency, show don't tell, end with hooks
  • Reference the outline and prior chapters for continuity
  • Skill: write

Phase N+1: Developmental Edit

  • Review the complete draft for plot structure, character arcs, pacing
  • Identify plot holes, inconsistencies, and weak sections
  • Provide specific, actionable revision notes
  • Skill: revise

Phase N+2: Line Edit

  • Sentence-level improvements: rhythm, word choice, clarity
  • Check dialogue quality and voice consistency
  • Skill: revise

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

full-pipeline is a skill published in the GitHub repository Ckokoski/AuthorAgent (105 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 15 tokens to every session and 828 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
