OpenClacky is an open-source AI coding agent that uses OpenAI-compatible models to perform tasks through tools and subagents. It is intended for developers who want an agent with flexible model choice and lower token usage. The catalogue skills and agents extend its workflows and capabilities.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00057 | $0.01771 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00023 | $0.00708 |

Grade A, and why
computer-use scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 18d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 144 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Computer Use (macOS and Windows)
GUI control goes through the script bundled with this skill. The computer-use extension is
off by default, so if you are reading this the user has switched it on.
Platform support
| Host | Backend | Needs |
|---|---|---|
| macOS | CoreGraphics + Quartz events | Screen Recording and Accessibility grants |
| Windows | PowerShell agent launched from inside WSL | WSL running in an interactive desktop session |
On Windows the script only works from a WSL shell on the same machine: it reaches the
Windows desktop through WSL interop, which inherits the logged-on user's session. Run
from a service, an SSH session or anything on session 0 and doctor will say so —
screenshots come back black and input goes nowhere. This does not work on plain Linux
without Windows, and there is no macOS-side fallback for it.
Everything below is the same on both platforms. Key combos keep the macOS spelling
(cmd, shift), so cmd means the Windows key on Windows.
When to use it
- Native apps, dialogs, menu bars, installers, file pickers, System Settings.
- Anything on screen that
terminalcannot reach andbrowsercannot automate. - For web automation prefer the
browsertool while it works. If it fails because remote debugging is unavailable, fall back here immediately — do not openchrome://inspector run the browser-setup skill unless the user asks for it.
Workflow
-
Bring the target app forward if another window may cover it:
ruby <skill_dir>/bin/computer.rb activate "WorkBuddy"It needs no extra permission on either platform. If the name does not match (localized app names differ), it prints what is actually frontmost — take a screenshot to see the real window order instead of guessing.
-
Screenshot — with a labelled grid when you will need to click precise spots:
ruby <skill_dir>/bin/computer.rb screenshot --gridIt prints
image WxH scale S origin (x,y)and writes a sidecar.jsonnext to the PNG. The grid image is the one to read: its magenta lines and pixel labels give exact coordinates, so prefer it over writing your own crop or PIL overlay scripts.--grid 100sets a denser step; the default is 200.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

computer-use is a skill published in the GitHub repository clacky-ai/openclacky (1,203 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 57 tokens to every session and 1,771 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-22.
Other skills, from other repositories
cron
Use this skill only for scheduled or recurring tasks. Manage jobs with qwenpaw cron list/create/get/state/update/pause/resume/delete/run, and always pass --agent-id explicitly.
cron
A procedure for creating and managing tasks that run automatically at a future time or repeat on a schedule. It uses QwenPaw's scheduling commands and requires an agent identifier.
mailbox
A guide for performing email and mailbox tasks through the QwenPaw mailbox system. It covers supported personal email providers, credentials, configuration, and the required mailbox workflow.
channel_message
Use this skill to proactively send a one-way message to a user/session/channel, usually only when the user explicitly asks to send to a channel/session or when proactive notification is needed. First query sessions with qwenpaw chats list, then push with qwenpaw channels send.
kungfu-agent-onboarding
Use when a user asks to understand, start, inspect, extend, or safely operate installed Kungfu; verify the installed pack, select one intent route, personalize the explanation, and propose one smallest safe next action.
apple-tools
Reach Apple PIM data (Calendar, Contacts, Reminders, Messages, Location, Maps, Weather) from a pi session via iMCP + pi's built-in MCP on macOS. Use when the user asks to read/search their Apple Calendar, Contacts, Reminders, iMessages, current Location, Maps, or Weather. Does NOT cover Apple Mail — iMCP exposes no…
