automation-opportunity-map

automation-opportunity-map is a skill for Codex from ClarentCinematics/Codex-Skills-for-Enterprise. It costs 62 tokens per session (405 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for finding and ranking parts of an enterprise workflow that could be automated with scripts, tools, integrations, or process changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to map a workflow's triggers, people, inputs, decisions, outputs, handoffs, and pain points. It produces automation candidates, prioritization, required inputs, and success measures.
Why use it?
It helps teams focus on repeatable work that has meaningful value while considering effort, risk, data sensitivity, and time to benefit. It turns a general automation idea into a staged roadmap.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00062 $0.00405
Opus 5 $0.00031 $0.00202
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00081
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00040

Security

Grade A, and why

automation-opportunity-map scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Automation Opportunity Map

Workflow

  1. Map the workflow goal, trigger, actors, inputs, tools, decisions, outputs, and current pain points.
  2. Identify repeatable steps, handoffs, data transformations, approval paths, and quality checks.
  3. Classify opportunities as skill, script, integration, dashboard, template, or process redesign.
  4. Score opportunities by value, frequency, complexity, risk, data sensitivity, and time-to-impact.
  5. Recommend a staged automation roadmap with quick wins, dependencies, and validation criteria.

Output Standard

Use this structure by default:

  • Workflow Summary: current workflow, owner, frequency, and business outcome.
  • Pain Points: friction, waste, rework, delay, or quality risk.
  • Automation Candidates: opportunity, automation type, value, complexity, and risk.
  • Prioritization Matrix: quick win, strategic bet, defer, or avoid.
  • Recommended Roadmap: first experiment, next build, and longer-term system improvement.
  • Required Inputs: data, artifacts, systems, permissions, and human review points.
  • Success Measures: time saved, quality improved, risk reduced, or throughput gained.

Rules

  • Prefer narrow automations with clear ownership over broad vague transformation ideas.
  • Flag privacy, compliance, access, and human-review requirements explicitly.
  • Do not recommend full automation when human judgment is essential or source data is unreliable.
  • Optimize for measurable operating leverage, not novelty.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
