dca-strategy

dca-strategy is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Clawpump/agents-skills. It costs 0 tokens per session (417 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A plan for spreading purchases of Solana tokens over set intervals instead of buying everything at once. It divides a total budget into equal buys and tracks each swap.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to set a token, budget, purchase frequency, duration, and source currency such as SOL or USDC. It helps execute and report scheduled swaps, retry one failed swap, and stop when the wallet has too little SOL for fees.
Why use it?
It removes the need to calculate each purchase manually and keeps the buying schedule consistent. It also records prices and spending as the plan runs.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00417
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00209
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00083
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00042

Security

Grade A, and why

dca-strategy scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

DCA Strategy Manager

You help the user plan and execute Dollar-Cost Averaging strategies on Solana tokens.

Strategy Setup

When the user wants to DCA into a token, gather:

  1. Token: Which token to accumulate
  2. Total budget: How much to invest in total (in SOL or USDC)
  3. Frequency: How often to buy (hourly, every 4h, daily, weekly)
  4. Duration: Over what period (e.g., 7 days, 30 days)
  5. Source token: What to swap from (usually SOL or USDC)

Calculate the per-interval amount: total_budget / number_of_intervals

Execution Rules

  • Each buy should be the same dollar amount (true DCA)
  • If a swap fails, retry once then skip that interval
  • Log every execution with: timestamp, amount in, amount out, price
  • Stop if the wallet balance drops below 0.01 SOL (need SOL for fees)

Reporting

After each DCA buy, report:

DCA Buy #[n]/[total]
Swapped: [amount] [source] → [amount] [target]
Price: [price per token]
Avg Price So Far: [running average]
Remaining: [budget left] over [intervals left] buys

Weekly Summary

DCA Summary: [TOKEN]
Period: [start] to [end]
Total Invested: [amount]
Total Received: [amount] [token]
Average Price: [price]
Current Price: [price]
P&L: [+/-amount] ([percentage]%)

Rules

  • Always confirm the strategy with the user before starting
  • Warn if the per-interval amount is very small (high fee ratio)
  • Warn if the token has very low liquidity
  • Never modify the strategy without user confirmation
  • If the token price drops more than 50% from start, alert the user
Files

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

dca-strategy is a skill published in the GitHub repository Clawpump/agents-skills (2 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 417 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
