opengeni: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/opengeni-setup/SKILL.md

opengeni-setup is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Cloudgeni-ai/opengeni. It costs 83 tokens per session (1,895 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A setup workflow for configuring OpenGeni for a product before embedding its agents.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect an existing product, provision OpenGeni workspaces and agents, configure integrations, and verify the setup through the public API.
Why use it?
It turns product settings into controlled workspaces, agent permissions, tools, approvals, schedules, webhooks, credentials, and usage limits without relying on guessed API details.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents).

This is Cloudgeni-ai/opengeni's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on opengeni itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything opengeni configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00083 $0.01895
Opus 5.5 $0.00033 $0.00758
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00017 $0.00379
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00189

Security

Grade A, and why

opengeni-setup scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 17d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (references/setup-sdk.ts), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Opengeni developer setup

You are the product's coding agent. Get the product a working Opengeni chat agent, then wire the product's own tools into it. The embedding code follows the embedding skill. This skill is not a runtime Skill for the product's end-user agent.

When the opengeni MCP tools are available (the Opengeni plugin connects them), use them to inspect and act on the user's Opengeni organization: opengeni_actions_search finds an action, opengeni_action_describe shows its input, opengeni_action_call runs it. Prefer them over hand-written API calls. The first use opens a browser sign-in where the user chooses what the agent may access. The product's server still needs its own organization API key (step 2).

The REST/SDK walkthrough has the exact request bodies, verification calls and recovery rules; read the section for a step before executing it. Never invent a route, SDK method or permission. The SDK example is typechecked against this repo.

The default path is steps 1–4: a verified chat, then verified product tools. The user may stop after the working chat (step 3); otherwise continue to tools. Steps 5–6 run only when the product or request needs them.

1. Inspect the product and target

Inspect the product's auth, tenancy, existing Opengeni config, runtime, API (OpenAPI document or MCP server), environment-file conventions and deployment. Reuse its sharing boundaries and derive the organization name from the product. Don't ask about things the product or request already settles.

Target: https://app.opengeni.ai (use https://staging.app.opengeni.ai only when asked to test against staging). Do not use a Personal workspace as the product's workspace.

2. Sign in and create the organization key

If the Opengeni MCP tools are connected, use them: the user already signed in when connecting. Otherwise ask the user to sign in or sign up at the target app (in your browser if you have one).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
