ieee-response

ieee-response is a skill for Codex from CloudWave818/ieee-skills. It costs 94 tokens per session (567 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for preparing IEEE reviewer responses, revision plans, cover letters, and point-by-point replies to manuscript feedback.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to address comments about novelty, methods, experiments, citations, figures, writing, formatting, limitations, or technical errors.
Why use it?
It organizes each reviewer comment by issue, required change, evidence, and response stage so replies stay precise and supported.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00094 $0.00567
Opus 5 $0.00047 $0.00283
Sonnet 5 $0.00019 $0.00113
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00057

Security

Grade A, and why

ieee-response scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

IEEE Response Router

Use this skill to convert reviewer criticism into manuscript actions and precise, respectful point-by-point replies.

Do not write a defensive response. Do not promise changes that the manuscript does not make. Follow the routing protocol and load the selected fragments.

Routing Protocol

  1. Read manifest.yaml.
  2. Read every file listed under always_load.
  3. Detect the axes:
    • comment_type: novelty / scope / method / experiment / baseline / figure-table / citation / writing / format / limitation / technical-error / review-quality.
    • action_type: add-experiment / add-explanation / revise-text / correct-error / add-citation / improve-figure-table / acknowledge-limitation / disagree-with-evidence.
    • response_stage: rebuttal / major-revision / minor-revision / resubmission / cover-letter.
    • evidence_status: evidence-added / evidence-planned / evidence-unavailable / text-only-fix.
    • tone: standard / concise / very-polite / firm.
  4. State the detected axes in one short line when useful.
  5. Load only the matching fragments.
  6. For each reviewer comment, produce:
    • issue classification,
    • required manuscript action,
    • evidence needed,
    • response wording,
    • revision-location placeholder if exact page/line is unknown.
  7. For review-quality concerns, respond to the observable inconsistency or lack of support. Do not accuse the reviewer of using AI unless the user provides direct evidence.

Output Contract

Default point-by-point format:

Reviewer comment:

Classification:
- comment_type:
- action_type:
- evidence_status:

Response:
[polite, specific response]

Manuscript revision:
[what changed and where]

Evidence:
[new experiment/result/citation/figure/textual clarification]

For multiple comments, add a Revision action list before the detailed responses.

For cover letters, summarize major changes, added experiments, figure/table improvements, and remaining limitations without overselling.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
