delegation-agents

delegation-agents is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from CodeInfinity1/Stram. It costs 34 tokens per session (325 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A parent guide for splitting work between coding agents and coordinating their handoffs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan multi-agent work, choose a suitable coding worker, and define what evidence and verification are required.
Why use it?
It gives each worker a clear task and keeps the main agent responsible for checking the returned work.

Skill for Claude CodeCodex

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: mentions subagents; mentions Claude Code; mentions Codex.

Good fit Use it to plan multi-agent work, choose a suitable coding worker, and define what evidence and verification are required.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00034 $0.00325
Opus 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00130
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00065
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

delegation-agents scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Delegation Agents

Purpose

Use this parent skill when work should be split across specialists, delegated to a coding agent, inspected by another agent, or coordinated through explicit worker contracts.

Hierarchy Reading Rules

  1. Decide whether delegation is needed because of parallel evidence gathering, independent review, code implementation, or tool isolation.
  2. Load the child skill for the target worker type before creating the handoff.
  3. Give sub-agents specific objectives, allowed tools, evidence requirements, and stop conditions.
  4. Validate returned work against local evidence before merging it into the main answer.

Child Skill Guide

  • Use team orchestration and worker handoff for generic sub-agent boards, task splits, and result synthesis.
  • Use coding-agent, Codex, Claude Code, Codex CLI, or opencode skills when the delegate is a code worker with specific runtime expectations.
  • Keep delegation instructions generalized in the parent and task-specific details inside child skills and handoff payloads.

Verification

  • Treat sub-agent outputs as evidence to verify, not as final truth.
  • Record unresolved assumptions and failed worker attempts before finalizing.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

delegation-agents is a skill published in the GitHub repository CodeInfinity1/Stram (11 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 34 tokens to every session and 325 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
