Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00028 $0.00469
Opus 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00188
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00094
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00047

Security

Grade A, and why

xlsx-operations scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

XLSX Operations

Purpose

Support spreadsheet analysis and artifact planning. Stram can use approved Python/interpreter workflows when packages are available; dedicated Excel adapters should be native and tested.

When To Use

Use for spreadsheet analysis, CSV/XLSX cleaning, formulas, tables, summaries, workbook planning, and Excel tool implementation.

Inputs And Evidence

  • Spreadsheet path, schema, desired calculations, formatting, charts, and output path.
  • Data quality constraints and formulas.

Tool Map

  • read_file
  • xlsx_workbook_create
  • xlsx_workbook_inspect
  • python_interpreter
  • python_interpreter_artifact
  • write_note
  • data-analysis-notebook
  • data-visualization

Workflow

  1. Confirm file type and path boundary.
  2. Determine whether analysis, cleanup, formatting, or artifact creation is needed.
  3. Use xlsx_workbook_create for new Excel artifacts and xlsx_workbook_inspect for workbook verification before falling back to approved Python.
  4. Preserve formulas, headers, types, and source rows.
  5. Verify outputs through artifact inspection or summaries.
  6. Report missing native Excel adapter gaps.

Native Implementation Boundaries

  • Do not import Anthropic XLSX skill code or external reference spreadsheet scripts.
  • Use Stram-owned interpreter/tool paths only.
  • Use the Stram-owned xlsx_workbook_create and xlsx_workbook_inspect tools for basic workbook creation and verification; add additional native spreadsheet tools with schemas/tests when needed.

Safety And Approval

  • Spreadsheets may contain financial or personal data.
  • Do not overwrite source workbooks without approval.
  • Avoid silently changing formulas.

Verification

  • Validate row/column counts and key formulas.
  • Confirm artifact path and generated file status.
  • Confirm workbook inspection reports expected sheet names, dimensions, sample rows, and formulas.
  • Report any package/tool limitations.

Failure Modes

  • Treating XLSX as plain CSV.
  • Breaking formulas or formatting silently.
  • Missing hidden sheets or filters.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

xlsx-operations is a skill published in the GitHub repository CodeInfinity1/Stram (11 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 28 tokens to every session and 469 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
