Getting it into your agent
This one installs as part of its plugin. Adding the marketplace and installing the plugin brings it with everything else the plugin ships.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00225 | $0.08520 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00090 | $0.03408 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00045 | $0.01704 |

Grade A, and why
manage-themes scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 423 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Manage Themes
Why This Exists
Without centralized theme management, visual plugins each hardcode their own colors and fonts, producing inconsistent outputs. This skill provides a single place to create, store, audit, and apply themes so every visual output — slides, documents, diagrams, reports — shares a coherent brand identity. Themes are compact markdown files containing color palettes, typography, and design principles.
cogni-publishing owns the whole theme lifecycle and works standalone: no cogni-workspace installation or initialisation is required. cogni-workspace:manage-themes survives only as a same-name route that delegates here.
Prerequisites
Two theme locations exist, and they are never confused:
- Bundled themes ship with this plugin in
${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/themes/—cogni-work, the four archetype presets and_template/. They are versioned with the plugin and never edited in place. - User themes live in one optional, user-owned directory, resolved as: an explicit
--user-themes <dir>, else--workspace-root <root>/themes, else${COGNI_WORKSPACE_ROOT}/themes/when that variable is set, else an auto-discovered workspace — fordiscover-themes.pylistings only;select-theme.pynever auto-discovers (see Theme Selection Mechanics). Existing user themes are read where they are; nothing moves or rewrites them. A user theme shadows a bundled theme of the same slug. Discovery labels thesesource: workspaceand bundled onessource: standard— legacy labels kept for existing callers — so "workspace theme" below always means a theme in this user location.
Write operations (5 when forking or generating, 7, 10) write only to the user location, and create it — seeding _template/ from ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/themes/_template/ — on first use. When nothing resolves — no --user-themes, no COGNI_WORKSPACE_ROOT, no workspace — ask the user where their themes should live and pass that directory as --user-themes on this and later calls; never invent a location, because later discovery never scans a guessed directory. Operations 2, 9 and 11 never create anything: reading the catalog must not leave a directory behind in someone's workspace.
What ships with it
3 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

manage-themes is a skill published in the GitHub repository cogni-work/insight-wave (13 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 225 tokens to every session and 8,520 once invoked, about $0.0009 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-14.
