onchainai-crypto-tools

onchainai-crypto-tools is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Coinyak/onchainai. It costs 89 tokens per session (1,169 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for finding, evaluating, and installing cryptocurrency and blockchain tools through the OnchainAI directory. It covers tools such as MCP servers, command-line programs, software libraries, APIs, and agent services.

In plain words
What is it for?
Searching the directory, comparing tools, viewing installation instructions, checking service pricing or health, and selecting tools for a particular blockchain or onchain job.
Why use it?
It helps developers choose tools for blockchain tasks while checking installation risks, trust, supported chains, and whether a service requires payment.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00089 $0.01169
Opus 5 $0.00044 $0.00584
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00234
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00117

Security

Grade A, and why

onchainai-crypto-tools scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

OnchainAI Crypto Tool Finder

Use the connected onchainai MCP server (https://www.onchain-ai.xyz/mcp — free discovery by default; never use /mcp/okx unless the user explicitly wants the OKX pay-per-call package).

MCP pricing (public /mcp)

  • Free — use freely: search_tools, get_tool_detail, get_install_guide, list_categories, get_dashboard_snapshot, compare_tools, get_price_history, get_x402_trends, and Agent Sync tools when linked (link_status, save_to_toolkit, save_stack_to_blueprint).
  • Premium (always paid, ~$0.01 USDC/call on Base when Axis B is configured): export_toolkit, recommend_verified_tool, gap_audit. Unpaid calls get HTTP 402 or 503 — never free results.
  • K2 probe (always paid, ~$0.001 USDC/call): check_endpoint_health.
  • Claude Code, Cursor, and many MCP clients cannot settle x402. On HTTP 402 they may show Connection closed instead of a price. Prefer free search_tools / get_tool_detail; do not retry paid tools in a loop.
  • Do not claim that every tools/call on the public endpoint costs money — discovery tools above are free; only premium/K2 charge.

Query Workflow

  1. Translate the user's goal into a search intent, including chain, protocol, type, or action when known.
  2. Call search_tools first (free). Use query for the capability, and pass chain/category/type filters when the MCP schema exposes them.
  3. For promising results, call get_tool_detail (free) to inspect trust, source, supported chains, install metadata, and x402 fields.
  4. When the user wants setup help, call get_install_guide for the target platform (claude, cursor, or generic).
  5. If the user is browsing rather than asking for a specific capability, call list_categories before searching.

Result Rules

  • Prefer tools marked official, verified, or claimed when several results match.
  • Prefer stronger trust signals, recent activity, relevant chain support, and lower install risk over raw star count.
  • Do not recommend tools that do not match the user's chain, task, or agent environment.
  • Do not invent tools, claims, commands, MCP config, pricing, or verification status. Only report fields returned by OnchainAI.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
