What is build-signed-aab?

A workflow for building and checking a signed Android App Bundle, the upload file used to submit an Android app to Google Play. It checks project details, tests, code quality, signing, the app manifest, and the launcher icon before storing the bundle with its version name.

Use it when you need a signed release AAB, such as for a Play Console submission. It covers requests to build, sign, verify, or prepare an Android App Bundle.

It gathers the release checks needed before a Play Console submission into one process. This helps catch missing signing, incorrect app details, or release-build problems before upload.
