What is coordinate-system?

A rule for arranging a digital audio workstation’s user interface using musical beats instead of seconds. Zoom is measured in pixels per beat, and positions, grids, clips, and selections use beats.

It guides work on beat-based positioning, grid drawing, clip boundaries, selections, and zoom calculations in MAGDA.

It keeps timing and screen coordinates consistent when the music tempo or zoom changes. This avoids mixing time units and drawing parts of the interface in the wrong places.
