ai-bvf: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/aibvf-design/SKILL.md

aibvf-design is a skill for Claude Code from Craig-Horton/ai-bvf. It costs 64 tokens per session (530 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A design guide for creating branded interfaces and visual assets for AI BVF, the AI Business Value Framework from Craig Horton Advisory. It defines the brand's colors, fonts, themes, tone, and reusable interface components.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when designing AI BVF websites, dashboards, presentations, mockups, or other branded visual work.
Why use it?
It gives prototypes and production interfaces a consistent visual language. It also explains how to handle different themes and use colors for functional status signals.

Written for Claude Code: user-invocable in frontmatter.

This is Craig-Horton/ai-bvf's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on ai-bvf itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything ai-bvf configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00064 $0.00530
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.00265
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00106
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00053

Measured 10d ago against content hash fb68017035a4, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

aibvf-design scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Read the README.md file within this skill, and explore the other available files. If creating visual artifacts (slides, mocks, throwaway prototypes, etc), copy assets out and create static HTML files for the user to view. If working on production code, you can copy assets and read the rules here to become an expert in designing with this brand. If the user invokes this skill without any other guidance, ask them what they want to build or design, ask some questions, and act as an expert designer who outputs HTML artifacts or production code, depending on the need.

Quick orientation

  • One accent (copper #B87333) on deep navy (#0F1E35). No other decorative colour. RAG (green/amber/red) is functional signal only — Accelerate / Fix / Stop.
  • Type: Playfair Display (serif — headings, KPI values, quotes; upright, no italics), DM Sans (body/UI), IBM Plex Mono (EUR figures, scores).
  • Themes: dark navy by default; add data-theme="light" to <html> for the warm-ivory light theme. Same copper accent both ways.
  • Tone: executive/advisory, measured, "holds up the mirror." No emoji, no hype. See README → Content Fundamentals.
  • Link styles.css for all tokens. Components live under window.AIBVFDesignSystem_ab2d84 via _ds_bundle.js.

Key files

  • styles.css + tokens/ — colors, type, spacing, fonts.
  • guidelines/*.card.html — visual specimens.
  • components/core|forms/ — Button, VerdictBadge, Label, Card, KpiCard, PillarMeter, Mirror, Input, Select.
  • components/feedback/ — GateBadge, Scorecard (the signature CI PASS/FAIL gate).
  • ui_kits/bvf-app/, ui_kits/protocol/ — full-screen recreations to copy from (protocol page is light/dark, plus a README hero and 1200×630 OG card).
  • assets/bvf-logo.svg — the brand mark.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
