cratis-arc-command-typescript

cratis-arc-command-typescript is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Cratis/AI. It costs 161 tokens per session (3,781 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for defining commands in a Node.js TypeScript server with Cratis Arc. A command represents an operation with inputs; Arc supplies the route, input binding, validation, authorization, and result format.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create commands, handle their inputs, inject services, apply authorization, and return events or other outcomes.
Why use it?
It removes the need to write a separate controller and route for each command. It also clarifies the difference between Arc's server preview packages and its published client package.

Skill for Claude CodeCodex

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is import { TaskId } from '../TaskId.js';.

Good fit Use it to create commands, handle their inputs, inject services, apply authorization, and return events or other outcomes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00161 $0.03781
Opus 5.5 $0.00064 $0.01512
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00032 $0.00756
Haiku 4.5 $0.00016 $0.00378

Security

Grade A, and why

cratis-arc-command-typescript scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Define an Arc command in TypeScript (Node.js server)

Arc for TypeScript (Cratis/Arc.TypeScript) is the Node.js server implementation of Arc. A command is a decorated class that carries the input and handles itself; Arc supplies the route, body binding, validation, authorization, and the CommandResult envelope. There is no controller and no route to write.

  • None of the server packages is published to npm. @cratis/arc.core, @cratis/arc.express, @cratis/arc.fastify, @cratis/arc.hono, @cratis/arc.testing, @cratis/arc.mongodb, @cratis/arc.drizzle, @cratis/arc.chronicle, @cratis/cratis, @cratis/arc.proxygenerator and @cratis/eslint-plugin-arc-core are an unpublished source preview (0.x manifests, GitHub pre-releases). The API may still change. npm install @cratis/arc.core fails.
  • @cratis/arc is a different package. @cratis/arc, @cratis/arc.react and @cratis/arc.react.mvvm are the published client runtime, built from Cratis/Arc. Generated proxies import them in the frontend. The server packages never depend on them. Never tell a user to install @cratis/arc to get a server.
  • @cratis/arc.chronicle and @cratis/cratis are additionally marked experimental.

Source: Cratis/Arc.TypeScript (source preview), reading package exports, Documentation/**, and Samples/Tasks / Samples/Library. Behavior on the development branch is excluded.

Requires the Chronicle SDK peer ^6.29.0, Fundamentals peer ^7.19.6, @opentelemetry/api ^1.9.0 and (optional, for RxJS observable queries) rxjs ^7.8.2.

The Chronicle integration needs Node 22.19+, zod ^4.1, rxjs ^7.8.2, and an optional @cratis/arc.testing peer for scenarios.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
