orchardcore-ai-realtime-voice

orchardcore-ai-realtime-voice is a skill for Claude Code from CrestApps/CrestApps.AgentSkills. It costs 204 tokens per session (2,769 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An Orchard Core feature for live spoken conversations with an AI model. It supports speech-to-speech sessions while also allowing typed messages in the same chat thread.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to configure conversation deployments, voice-enabled chat surfaces, WebRTC transport, and speech-based AI interactions.
Why use it?
It removes the need to treat voice conversations and typed chat as separate experiences. The required model and real-time connection can be configured through the chat features.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00204 $0.02769
Opus 5.5 $0.00082 $0.01108
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00041 $0.00554
Haiku 4.5 $0.00020 $0.00277

Security

Grade A, and why

orchardcore-ai-realtime-voice scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Orchard Core AI Realtime Voice - Prompt Templates

Configure Realtime Voice

You are an Orchard Core expert. Generate configuration and recipes for live spoken AI conversations in the CrestApps AI Chat and AI Chat Interactions surfaces.

Guidelines

  • Realtime voice is part of CrestApps.OrchardCore.AI.Chat (AI Chat sessions and widgets) and CrestApps.OrchardCore.AI.Chat.Interactions. Both register the WebRTC transport (AddWebRtcRealtimeTransport, package CrestApps.Core.AI.WebRTC) and per-tenant Cloudflare TURN (AddTenantCloudflareRealtimeTurn). No extra feature is needed.
  • A realtime deployment is one whose model declares the realtime capability in Properties.AIDeploymentMetadata.Features, or a Cascaded Realtime deployment. See orchardcore-ai-model-capabilities.
  • One chat thread carries both typed and spoken turns. In Conversation chat mode the surface shows a voice toggle beside a working message box.
  • The Chat deployment is only the text model. It lists text-capable deployments and answers typed messages, including those typed during a voice session. The speech-to-speech model goes in the Conversation deployment.
  • How a conversation is carried is resolved, never stored. There is no per-profile switch back to the cascade.
  • Tools, data sources, the system message and turn persistence all apply to the spoken conversation, because turns run through IRealtimeOrchestrator.
  • Keep TURN secrets and Cloudflare tokens in a secret store, not in committed configuration.
  • Recipe JSON uses { "steps": [...] }.

Resolution Order

For a surface in Conversation mode:

  1. the conversation deployment named on the profile or interaction;
  2. otherwise the site's default realtime deployment (Settings → Artificial Intelligence → Default Deployments);
  3. otherwise the first deployment whose model declares realtime;
  4. otherwise the client-driven speech-to-text plus text-to-speech cascade, which needs both deployments;
  5. otherwise microphone dictation, then plain typing.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
