orchardcore-facebook

orchardcore-facebook is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from CrestApps/CrestApps.AgentSkills. It costs 93 tokens per session (658 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to connecting Orchard Core with Meta services, including Facebook Login, social-plugin widgets, and Meta Pixel, a tool for tracking activity on a website. It explains which feature enables each integration.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to configure Meta app credentials, enable external login, add social widgets, set up Pixel tracking, and apply integration recipes.
Why use it?
It prevents confusion between the shared Meta app settings and the separate login, widget, and tracking features.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00093 $0.00658
Opus 5 $0.00046 $0.00329
Sonnet 5 $0.00019 $0.00132
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00066

Security

Grade A, and why

orchardcore-facebook scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Orchard Core Facebook and Meta Integration

OrchardCore.Facebook is the Meta core feature. It is EnabledByDependencyOnly; do not try to enable it directly. Enable a dependent feature instead:

Feature ID Purpose
OrchardCore.Facebook.Login External Meta authentication
OrchardCore.Facebook.Widgets Meta social-plugin widgets
OrchardCore.Facebook.Pixel Meta Pixel tracking

The Login and Widgets features bring in the core feature. Pixel is independent.

Meta App Settings

Configure the core app at Settings → Integrations → Meta App. The backing FacebookSettings properties are AppId, AppSecret, FBInit, FBInitParams, SdkJs, and Version.

{
  "steps": [
    {
      "name": "Feature",
      "enable": [
        "OrchardCore.Facebook.Login"
      ]
    },
    {
      "name": "FacebookCoreSettings",
      "AppId": "meta-app-id",
      "AppSecret": "supply-from-a-secret-store",
      "FBInit": true,
      "FBInitParams": "status: true, xfbml: true, autoLogAppEvents: true",
      "SdkJs": "sdk.js",
      "Version": "v3.2"
    }
  ]
}

Use ConfigureFacebookSettings() only when host configuration must override the stored core settings. Keep the app secret out of source control.

Meta Login

Enable OrchardCore.Facebook.Login, which depends on OrchardCore.Users.ExternalAuthentication. Configure it at Settings → Security → Authentication → Meta. The callback defaults to /signin-facebook; register the tenant's full HTTPS callback URL with Meta.

{
  "steps": [
    {
      "name": "FacebookLoginSettings",
      "CallbackPath": "/signin-facebook"
    }
  ]
}

FacebookLoginSettings persists the callback path. SaveTokens is a runtime setting and is not part of this recipe step.

Enable OrchardCore.Users.Registration only when external users should be able to create local accounts.

Widgets and Pixel

Enable OrchardCore.Facebook.Widgets to add the FacebookPluginPart content part to widget content types. Enable OrchardCore.Facebook.Pixel and configure its pixel setting separately. Load fbsdk in templates when a page needs the SDK:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
