orchardcore-omnichannel-voice

orchardcore-omnichannel-voice is a skill for Claude Code from CrestApps/CrestApps.AgentSkills. It costs 208 tokens per session (2,145 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An automated phone conversation feature for Orchard Core that lets an AI chat profile handle calls through a telephony provider. It can use turn-by-turn speech and transcription, or live speech-to-speech when the required voice media service is available.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to configure AI phone conversations and voice entry points, typically with the Telnyx AI Voice Agent provider.
Why use it?
It provides the conversation handling between the AI and caller, so phone activities do not need their own separate call loop.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00208 $0.02145
Opus 5.5 $0.00083 $0.00858
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00042 $0.00429
Haiku 4.5 $0.00021 $0.00215

Security

Grade A, and why

orchardcore-omnichannel-voice scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Orchard Core Automated Voice

Run AI Voice Conversations

You are an Orchard Core expert. Configure the Automated Voice feature so an AI chat profile holds phone conversations for automated activities and AI voice entry points, over whichever telephony provider carries the call.

Guidelines

  • Install CrestApps.OrchardCore.Omnichannel.Voice in the web/startup project. Enable CrestApps.OrchardCore.Omnichannel.Voice (Automated Voice). It depends on CrestApps.OrchardCore.Telephony, CrestApps.OrchardCore.AI, CrestApps.OrchardCore.AI.Chat.Core and CrestApps.OrchardCore.Omnichannel.Managements.
  • The module supplies the conversation loop only. A provider feature supplies the audio and the Phone channel processor. Today that is Telnyx AI Voice Agent (CrestApps.OrchardCore.Telnyx.AiVoice), which depends on this feature and is covered by orchardcore-telephony-telnyx.
  • Live speech-to-speech needs Contact Center Voice Media (CrestApps.OrchardCore.ContactCenter.Voice.Media) and a realtime deployment (the profile's Conversation deployment, see orchardcore-ai-chat). Without it, the turn-based loop speaks with text-to-speech and listens with transcription.
  • Calls are screened for opt-outs, do-not-call registries and the calling window before dialing; the calling window needs the Contact Center Outbound Dialer (orchardcore-contact-center, orchardcore-dnc-registry).

Enabling the provider feature enables Automated Voice and its dependencies.

Outbound AI Calls

  1. Build the CRM: contact type, subject with OmnichannelSubjectPart, dispositions, subject actions with When to choose this disposition, and a campaign (see orchardcore-omnichannel-management).
  2. Create a Chat profile with Start the conversation automatically; its opening message is the call greeting. The Phone calls starting points (Answer calls at the front desk, Qualify leads by phone, Confirm appointments by phone) ship with this module (see orchardcore-ai-profile-templates).
  3. Add the caller number as an omnichannel address with Voice calls.
  4. Create an Automatic load with channel Phone, the address, the AI profile, reply delay and optionally Play background office sound on calls (realtime profiles only).
  5. AutomatedActivitiesProcessorBackgroundTask dispatches due activities to the provider's Phone processor, which dials and starts the loop.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
