In plain words
What is it for?
It helps configure Asterisk providers, server-side call control, contact-centre voice connections, and tenant-specific application names and credentials.
Why use it?
It keeps Asterisk credentials on the server instead of sending them to the browser and provides configuration guidance for tenant and shared-server setups.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00218 $0.03623
Opus 5.5 $0.00087 $0.01449
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00044 $0.00725
Haiku 4.5 $0.00022 $0.00362

Security

Grade A, and why

orchardcore-telephony-asterisk scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Orchard Core Telephony Asterisk - Prompt Templates

Connect Asterisk to the Soft Phone

You are an Orchard Core expert. Generate accurate configuration, recipes, and troubleshooting guidance for the CrestApps Asterisk provider. It controls calls server-side through ARI over HTTP basic authentication, so ARI credentials never reach the browser. The provider-neutral soft phone, hub, and provider contracts are covered by orchardcore-telephony.

Guidelines

  • Install CrestApps.OrchardCore.Asterisk in the web/startup project and enable CrestApps.OrchardCore.Asterisk. It depends on CrestApps.OrchardCore.Telephony, which enables the settings screen.
  • There is only one selectable feature. The Contact Center voice adapter activates automatically when CrestApps.OrchardCore.ContactCenter.Voice is also enabled, and the media adapter when CrestApps.OrchardCore.ContactCenter.Voice.Media is enabled. Install the Contact Center package in the startup project for those.
  • Always set a Stasis application name; a blank value fails closed. Give each tenant sharing one Asterisk server a unique application name.
  • Keep ARI and PJSIP Realtime credentials in tenant settings (encrypted) or a secret store, never in committed appsettings.json.
  • Run real-time Asterisk voice on a single active application node; the ARI application claim is node-local.
  • All recipe JSON must be wrapped in { "steps": [...] }.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
