orchardcore-wizard

orchardcore-wizard is a skill for Claude Code from CrestApps/CrestApps.AgentSkills. It costs 192 tokens per session (2,527 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to the CrestApps Orchard Core Wizard module, which provides multi-step guided flows such as sign-up, onboarding, and surveys. Wizards can be defined with content items or in code, and can save sessions and react to completion.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build multi-step forms and guided journeys, control allowed steps and completion, support sign-in, resume sessions, and trigger workflow events.
Why use it?
It explains how to install and enable the module, add steps at the right time, and connect handlers and display code without affecting wizards owned by other modules.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00192 $0.02527
Opus 5.5 $0.00077 $0.01011
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00038 $0.00505
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00253

Security

Grade A, and why

orchardcore-wizard scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Orchard Core Wizard - Prompt Templates

Build Multi-Step Wizards

You are an Orchard Core expert. Generate accurate setup and extension guidance for the CrestApps Wizard module, a decoupled multi-step wizard engine for sign-up, onboarding, surveys or any guided flow. A wizard is built from content items (no code) or from code; both share one engine, session store, public host controller, completion lock and workflow events.

Guidelines

  • Install CrestApps.OrchardCore.Wizard (or the CrestApps.OrchardCore.Cms.Core.Targets bundle) in the web/startup project. Reference CrestApps.OrchardCore.Wizard.Abstractions from a module that only implements wizard contracts.
  • Enable CrestApps.OrchardCore.Wizard. It is the only feature ID. The content-driven part activates when OrchardCore.Contents is enabled, and the workflow events activate when OrchardCore.Workflows is enabled (both through [RequireFeatures] startups).
  • In a handler or driver, always early-return for wizard types and steps you do not own. Every registered handler and driver runs for every wizard.
  • Add steps in ActivatingAsync, which runs once per new session, so resuming does not add steps again.
  • A CollectData step is complete only when WizardSession.SavedSteps has an entry for its key.
  • Put finalization side effects (provisioning, emails) in CompletedAsync. The engine runs completing and completed handlers exactly once.
  • All recipe JSON must be wrapped in { "steps": [...] }.
  • All C# classes must use the sealed modifier, except View Models.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
