avadakedavra

avadakedavra is a skill for Claude Code from cukas/remembrall. It costs 22 tokens per session (370 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A session-transfer tool that captures the current coding-agent session and starts a fresh session with that context.

In plain words
What is it for?
Saving the current session state and handing the work to a new Opus session.
Why use it?
It lets you move work to a new session while preserving the captured state instead of manually preparing a handoff.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00022 $0.00370
Opus 5 $0.00011 $0.00185
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00074
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00037

Measured 10d ago against content hash f346d5a5e576, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

avadakedavra scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Avada Kedavra — Session Kill & Transfer

Kills the current session and transfers full context to a fresh Opus instance. The user clicks ONE button and the new session continues seamlessly.

Steps

  1. Capture session state — Run the capture script. This is MANDATORY before anything else:

    REMEMBRALL_ROOT="${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT:-$(cat /tmp/remembrall-meta/plugin-root 2>/dev/null)}"
    source "${REMEMBRALL_ROOT}/hooks/lib.sh"
    CWD=$(pwd)
    SESSION_ID="${CLAUDE_SESSION_ID:-$(remembrall_read_session_id "$CWD" 2>/dev/null)}"
    bash "${REMEMBRALL_ROOT}/scripts/avadakedavra-capture.sh" --cwd "$CWD" --session-id "$SESSION_ID"

  2. Output exactly this and NOTHING else:

    Avada Kedavra!

  3. Call EnterPlanMode immediately. Do NOT add any text before or after step 2. Do NOT explain what you are doing. Do NOT plan. Do NOT summarize the session. Just the message and the tool call.

CRITICAL RULES

  • Output ZERO text other than "Avada Kedavra!" — no explanations, no summaries, no "I'll now...", no "Let me..."
  • Call EnterPlanMode IMMEDIATELY after the message
  • Do NOT write a plan file
  • The capture script handles ALL state saving — you do NOT need to create a handoff
  • This skill exists to be FAST. The entire execution should take under 3 seconds of Claude output.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
