cypress-design: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/cy-ui-illustration/SKILL.md

cy-ui-illustration is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from cypress-io/cypress-design. It costs 124 tokens per session (2,337 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A procedure for creating a simplified illustration of a product screen for marketing or other visual surfaces. It uses measured layouts and rendered browser output so the illustration can match a target size.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create, resize, or adapt product-screen illustrations for pages, blog posts, and browser-inset layouts.
Why use it?
It provides a repeatable way to make UI artwork that communicates a product idea without depending on every detail of the live product.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00124 $0.02337
Opus 5.5 $0.00050 $0.00935
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00025 $0.00467
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00234

Security

Grade A, and why

cy-ui-illustration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

cy-ui-illustration

Build UI illustrations the way the design team builds them: measured from the source Figma component, assembled from real assets, abstracted to gray shapes everywhere text isn't the story, rendered at @2x, and verified with an element inventory.

The rules live in ui-illustrations.md — fetch it first, every time. This skill is the order of work, the reference set, and the map of where existing illustrations live.

Canonical reference illustrations

These are the bar. Before building anything, read the bundled reference closest to your target and study how it abstracts, then open its Figma node for geometry and tokens. All are 16:9-family frames with base-4 spacing, whole-pixel values, and real text only where the feature's story needs it.

Bundled in references/. Read at most the one or two closest to your task — the table exists so you can choose from text instead of loading every image:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
