Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00203 | $0.02650 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00081 | $0.01060 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00041 | $0.00530 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00020 | $0.00265 |
Grade A, and why
article-factory scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 201 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
article-factory: finding -> deep research -> article (EN, SK) -> Reddit -> podcast -> promo
The order is the owner's (2026-09-17): the NotebookLM deep research runs first, so the article that goes under Agora is the best version we can write. Then the article is gated and published in English and Slovak, the way every Agora post is, and registered in the sitemap. Only then do the derivatives exist: the Reddit version, the English podcast episode, and the episode's promo.
Every derivative repeats only what the published article carries. tools/derive_post.py check
enforces that with numbers, links and names. Material from the deep research enters the article
in step 3, through verify-claims, and nowhere else.
Each numbered step below is its own step. A step written as a clause inside another step is the shape of thing that gets skipped (audit-post, 2026-07-01, twice in one day). Do not merge them.
Cost notice, before steps 1, 3, 7a, 7b, 7c: tell the owner what runs, how many units and the
total (storm about 470k tokens, stress-claim about 420k, verify-claims per claim count), and
wait for his go-ahead. Owner rule of 2026-08-21. NotebookLM steps cost his plan quota, not
tokens; nlm usage shows what is left.
0. Select and score the topic
Inputs: the Canon, the Crucible ledger, Lab receipts, the Flywheel's open questions, the inbox,
GET /brain/board (priorities). Three questions, each yes or no:
- Is there a measured number, a failed replication, or a result that contradicts a common belief?
- Does a stranger with no context understand the first sentence?
- Is it on the board and not textbook?
Three yes is a candidate. Two or fewer is not an article. Write the score and the reason into
agora_output/distribution/content_ledger.jsonl(one JSON line: slug, date, score, reason).
For an EXISTING post being re-issued, the score still runs: an old post can have fallen off the board or become textbook since it shipped.
1. Skeptic first, before any draft
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

article-factory is a skill published in the GitHub repository DanceNitra/agora (3 stars, last pushed 7d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 203 tokens to every session and 2,650 once invoked, about $0.0008 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-18.
