The Straight Line:

- Point B (Close): The prospect says yes, signs, and pays.
The two dangers:
- Going above the line — Getting sidetracked into rapport-building and tangential conversation. You lose momentum.
- Going below the line — Losing control. The prospect is leading.
The rule: Every word must move the conversation forward along the line toward the close.
